Will be a fantastic looking game. Perhaps I would use metal legs welded from square tubing??? I think the graphics on your design do not look that good (personal opinion). Plus powder coated metal can will look excellent and could be removed if you decided to sell on the game or move it to another part of your home.
If I did fall on a TAB virtuapin I would add a backglass. But in reality – you dont really need it, its just nice to have. Where a backglass is needed (say in Scared stiff) some versions have this on the playfield.
Years ago I bought an ultrapin – and attempted back then to upgrade the PC but the costs to get VP running was too much really. About 18 months ago – I started work on the new project – it is not finished but it plays. Now I just have to add some feedback coils, and tidy the game up. A friend game me an old ‘Fish Tales’ cab but I often wonder about going for a different design.
Have you put much thought into speaker drivers ??

March 18, 2016 at 8:25 pm #15308You may need to add the timeout /t 3 to give time for ledblinky to load try different time depending on your setup
Does everything work if you manually start ledblinky then manually play pbfx2?********************************************************

July 14, 2016 at 1:14 pm #33300Looks impressive – but if I can make one suggestion.
Get the pinball working fully first – just in case you have to change any of the cabinet. You have to allow for cooling, speakers, the PC, as well as having all the wiring to do. Plus things like relay boxes if you want everything to come off and on with a single power switch.
The design is great but I would leave the finishing off bits for a bit longer.
Brilliant looking design. Well done !

July 17, 2016 at 6:01 pm #33502Hej randr
Since Ive seen that you have Mastered LEDBlinky quite a bit, maybe you could help me out with this. Cause even after reading the LEDBlinky-Manual
Im still a bit confused.I got around 50 RGB-Lights connected to 2 LED-Wiz Boards. I run Pinball FX2 on a PinballX-Frontend.
All I want is the Lights reacting to the Audio. So I set up LEDBlinky, Generated a Input Map for The Two Controllers registering all my LEDs.Test Routines work, all the LEDs Flash. Even Audio Animation works while Test-Button is pressed. Now I saved the Config. But when I start LEDBlinky.exe
nothing happens. Nothing blinking. Any Ideas?Thanx and Greets
Sascha
