Hi everybody,
Just noticed the Use Safe Return in the emulator settings.
I was wondering what that does exactly? What is the purpose?
I do have an issue sometimes if something went wrong in b2s, my Popper comes back to the wheel but backglass videos etc. are missing. Probably the VLC has puked in some fashion. I’m wondering if this setting can help that kind of recovery?
Are there any downsides to using the setting?
Thanks!
Cameron

is that with fx3 only that you lose vlc? if so see wiki for fx3 config.
Safe return is more for ‘complex’ emulators/scripts that will rotate/change/crazy stuffs for displays. unless a wiki-page or setup doc suggests using it there’s no need to enable.

OK thanks for the clarification! Yeah I’ll go look at the wiki again for FX3 I’m pretty sure that I have had the same happen in VPX, but not nearly as often as can happen in FX3. I’ll def. Â go over the. wiki.
Thanks!
