So I tried it. Removed all scripts from the tables folder as well as scripts folder (to usb) and moved Scripts folder from 10.7beta into the tables folder Still got the messages. Removed scrips folder and grabbed fresh scripts from 10.6 (last working ones), tried them and still getting errors. Not a deal breaker as I can just enter (which is my plunger button, so easy) through them and play. I’m setting this up for pinx frontend so might not be ideal.

Don’t just look at the script folder, you could have other vbs files that are accessed from VP elsewhere. Ensure there are no other .vbs anywhere else. As well, don’t forget after installing latest VPM3.3 that you need to run “setup.exe” and install it.

September 17, 2020 at 12:56 pm #201363Hi,
I would like to report a bug on the actual release.
I got a cabinet with DOF and SSF. With vpx 10.6 the sounds for the backglass go to backglass and the sound for the table got to the table speakers.
If I use 10.7 (4291) all sounds (from soundmanager) go to the table, regardless it I toogle out or not.
Is this problem already known?

September 17, 2020 at 2:40 pm #201367It’s been a while since I ran the latest 10.7 on the cab. But, I believe that it was one of the things I did notice myself. I’ll re-check tomorrow and post it in the beta thread if it is still the case.

September 28, 2020 at 3:26 pm #202505Hello good Morning!! I have tried any beta version 10.7 and it won’t let me make the P-ROC system work, can this be corrected in the future?

September 28, 2020 at 4:14 pm #202510Does your setup for p-roc work with 10.6 ?

September 29, 2020 at 8:16 pm #202631Regarding the problem with the P-roc, I figured out (that is why I am posting) that the controller.vbs is not ok. If I take the controller.vbs from the installer of 10.6, Cactus Canyon Continued works, but with the version in this download I get an error saying:
Wrong number of arguments or invalid property assignment: ‘LoadVBSFiles’
Just putting back the older controller.vbs into the scripts folder solves the problem.

September 29, 2020 at 11:17 pm #202639Believe I updated both scripts on github last month. Toxie mentioned those in the beta thread.

December 17, 2020 at 10:20 am #215580Thanks for the enormous amount of work put into the development of VPX. Out of curiosity I just ask. What is the problem, that analog tilt still does not work since version 10.6? Theoretically, since the table reacts to analog nudging, after a few moves made in a short time the tilt should follow. I once read somewhere (I don’t remember where) that this is difficult to do for some reason. What is this reason? (Yes, I know I can install tilt-bob :))

December 17, 2020 at 12:28 pm #215585You know the answer, obviously  There are several things still not working in 10.7, tilt is not one of them for me. Don’t ignore the tilt bob, it is the most realistic hardware you can add to you build.

Hmm, maybe chimes > tilt bob.

It’s hard to buy tilt – bob in our country … but I think I have an idea

December 18, 2020 at 3:17 am #215680That is not going to feel very real. It will swing for far too long. A regular tilt bob actually swings easier in on direction compared to the other. It is metal “grinding” against metal in a shepherds hook. In almost all machines, you should be able to shove the machine stronger in the upward direction instead of sideways. All depending on how the “hook” is aligned. Actually. I’ve even nerfed my tilt bob with the 3m ear plug trick to make it stop its pendulum movement faster.
You surely can’t be living in a country where you can’t order a tilt bob over the internet ? I had mine sent from *.nl or was it *.de – don’t remember. Didn’t cost me much, even with the shipping and tax.

December 18, 2020 at 6:20 am #215699Of course, I mean replacing this string with a metal hook, after all, not only does the string swing too hard, but it also does not conduct electricity ;))). The most difficult element to make tilt bob is this cone and this bricklayer cone looks OK. Of course, I can order from de and nl… but who wants to wait? I want it max tomorrow :) Besides, I like DIY. If it does not work as it should – I will order the original.

December 18, 2020 at 7:34 am #215702Yeah. Well, I guess it will work – it is after all a pendulum of sorts.
