Making i new topic for this as i feel its BIG news!

I Always wanted to publish apps on android and apple stores but never could think of anything to make so…. I figure why not make the VPinball app!

I have been working on this for a long time stopping and starting it over last year or so but i think i got it to a point where at least it can be tested(currently android only)

Made a quick video of app but cannot show Push Notifications in simulator but this app will push notifications to your device for PM’s, Mentions, subscribed forum topics and download sections and much much more!

check out video and install the app if you have android device.

I can send IOS test app to anyone willing to test that(i am testing IOS myself but waiting to upload to apple store as they are more picky then android about final versions.

@randr – ah. Nothing else than I need to remember to turn off sound notifications while going to meetings. I don’t use my phone for much internet stuff. I just hate needing to write on it so I don’t have that many apps installed that do send a “beep” on updates. – Yes, I’ve become one of those old grumpy guys that wants a real keyboard :)

Guess I just have to learn to change my habits, because this is something I might even enjoy using

one thing though. Not sure if it is this PC or my internet – but, general site response for me today is very bad. Feels like sitting on ISDN

I assume you have been getting push notifications? FYI i do the table releases manually yet(huge pain) but will get it automated like mentions and PM’s are

Yup, I just got a push from your mention. I can’t think of any feature to request, the most important thing to me was a convenient way to catch up on recent forum activity, and the app does it. I haven’t found any bugs since 2.0. There was a scroll glitch while typing in your original one, but it’s fixed now. Assuming I’m not experiencing a placebo effect, 2.0 feels faster as well.

i can change style without updating app but if I want to change anything on actual app that needs to be done through play store so maybe I’m causing some strange stuff?

Yup, push worked great.

When the keyboard pops up it pushes the chat/menu bar up and leaves only a small window for the text box to type in. Is it possible to hide that bar when the keyboard is active? For example I wasn’t able to see this entire paragraph without retracting the keyboard.

Submitted app to apple store no idea if it will be approved but let’s hope!

also did first update to android app so grab that. Really just a test to see if I could figure out how to update the build on android(small changes to logo and added groups option)
