So after many hours of testing it seems the new app stores cache in safari or chrome mobile browser… clearing browser cache in your device seems to clear up the strange behavior for me and perhaps I’m only one seeing issue? Anyways I think the new app is ok and just was a cache issue on my device but if anyone else is seeing delayed new posts please let me know and try clearing cache and that should fix it.

Yea seems clearing cache only fixes issue temporarily app should not even be using cache so will need to fix it somehow

I think, there is a bug with zip-files. I try to download a zip from the El Dorado thread. I was asked to download and click on yes. Then the app closes and I have to start it new. That happen on my tablet and on my smartphone; also after a fresh install. So it seems not to be a problem here.

A d as I wrote the posting above, I’ve got a notification, that I wrote it. OK, I’m old, but not so old, that I forget, what I have done a minute ago. ?
Is it possible, to turn this off for own postings? If not, it’s not a big problem.

If you subscribe to topic you also get notification when you post. I’m sure there is a way I can fix that but for now only way to disable it is to unsubscribe to the topic

I just downloaded on iPhone and it does work so maybe a android issue? I’ll look into it.

@rooster Thank you so much for the feedback. I did put in each App Store I suggest removing old first as I suspected upgrade would not work. Are you android or Apple? I need feedback on Apple notification for reply and how it opens… does it open to reply or top of topic page and you can’t see new post until you use pagination back then pagination forward?

well first don’t forget to setup “push config” in left menu and turn all those on or what you want on.

@randr. A notification opens to the specific post. The only odd thing I see is that notifications of “mentioned you” take you to it but there way to respond to those… no new entry field and message editing tools. Just Share. The subscription notifications do have the ability to add a post to the thread.

Also, when I add a reply to a thread, the thread does return to the first post on that “page” …so this reply when submitted went to the top post of page 13. Noticed too that the post didn’t appear at the end when I scrolled back down. Not until I went off the thread and came back could I see it. Ditto for edited posts.
One UI comment: icon for “latest forum posts” should be consistent, it’s different on bottom nav and hamburger menu.
also would like to see a cancel button after hitting EDIT. No easy way to get back to thread if you change your mind.

One last thing on “edit” post. When I hit edit, I get the post in text form and also a text entry window. When I click inside the entry the text appears like in SS. I’m able to edit the black text so the box seems redundant, or confusing.
