Apple is TOUGH! working with legal, agreements and all sorts of things just to get this published on app store. I love apple products and would hate to think i need to switch to android just to run my own app! ha ha. lets hope it gets approval soon

Not sure if it’s still the case but a few years ago, it used to take between 2 weeks and a month to get approved. Such is the nature of a closed ecosystem for good or ill.

Well i love apple products i own them all and apples security is the best! but they wont allow “apps” that are not “app-ish” enough and i get that.
This app submission really is a process to say the least!
funny they will allow 200 different versions of flappy birdÂ

Anyone testing android app are you getting a few push’s about new uploads? Or if you get a friend request or pm? I’m still waiting on App Store approval so only running TestFlight in iPhone and cannot test android. Let me know please if it’s actually working for ya

I didn’t get a push but when I opened the app I immediately saw the PM, so I dunno if I opened the app right when I was about to get a push. I would reject the friend request so we could try again, but I don’t have a button to decline your friend requestreque the app, and I’m not home right now to open in browser.

Hmm. Ok still much to improve on for sure but I really think it will be worth the effort.

You can try sending the friend request again whenever, I’ll just keep rejecting it until the push works. Only then will you earn the status of friend lol.

No push the second time, and I waited awhile to open the app after I got the email saying I got the friend request. The app didn’t say anything when I opened it either, and I only saw the friend request by navigating to my profile and then notifications.

Today I’ve got my first push notification for the new wheel.
I start the app, saw I’m logged in, go to forum activities and there is the notification, that I have to log in to write something.
And if I’m in the forum in a thread and go back, I’m in the main menu.

@freelunch are you running updated app? Can you show a screenshot of main menu in app? Or easier does your main menu have a groups button? If not your running a beta 1.0

Well after phone conversation with Apple i’m confident that the Vpinball app will be published on apples app store!
Talk about a rough couple weeks but should be approved within 48 hours (fingers crossed) I really do think this will change the way you get all the latest Visual Pinball news and will only get better with your feedback/suggestions and version updates. to the app!
I will update this thread when its available and also update link on footer to app store as soon as its available
