Finally had a chance to use this when at my family’s for XMAS.
Thanks for the hard work on this as it is nice to be able to navigate the site easier on my phone, on the rare occasion that I use it.

Over 300 app installs now…
Ok so I have hooks working for nearly all site activity including the wiki and projects! So if a new wiki is published everyone with app will get notification and same with projects and all comments in wiki and projects. Now the forum notifications work great but still working on sending to users who subscribed and not just blasting everyone with every reply forum gets. Currently all new notifications are in test mode so I only get the wiki or projects push’s but I hope soon as the forum User specific push’s are fixed all will be made live and should be a great addition to the site! So if you don’t have the app yet go get the thing

375 app installs so far! I plan to get the downloads, liked and thanked push’s working within a week. I am still manually pushing new downloads so will be nice to finally get them automated
So look for app notifications on likes and thanks soon!!

Bug: on iPhone XS Max when in portrait view there are times I can’t select “back” to go back to previous page. However once I rotate to landscape view it works fine. The reason for this is because on the MAX sometimes the back button is overlapping the clock

im Still fighting the automated push for new downloads so I’m still manually pushing them on each upload(mostly) it’s a huge pain to do it manually so I miss some.
Anyways the rest of the push’s seem to work great and hope next week will have it all working as i hoped.
also working on the “messenger” or messages part and I hope to get that working better too…more like an instant messenger is what I was going for but I know it’s not perfect currently.
All that said it’s a great start for the app so far only 400 installs and android still has about 50 more installs looking at the apple/android stores.

Sorry about live testing of the uploads app push but is only way to test it. I think we should have push’s working for new uploads, updated uploads and moderation approval of uploads so this will be very cool if all test work over the next day or so will make them live for everyone that has app but for now I’m only one getting automated push alerts during the test so don’t worry about not getting any just yet.

Randr great app.
One change id like to see is the ability to move around and zoom in and out of selected pictures. Because right know if a photo is selected it is usally larger then the screen IPhone 8 im using and i can only see a partial picture.
And another but no biggy is the ability to swipe back to the last page you were on.
And on push notifications when I select the app it doesn’t indicate on the home page where the new notification is. So im always guessing if its in the forum or downloads ect ect.
Just my observations

only push that don’t open actual notification right now is a private message. All other push’s should open to actual permalink of the mention, post, reply or download once you click “done” from push

Yeah you need to open the notification and then click done for app to open it :)

Did app users notice you get a push when a download is updated!? Now how cool is that!?
Fyi I know there was a lot of push’s this morning but wow it all worked and now you will never miss an update to a table or wheel :)
