If you read a thread it should remove “new Reply” and “unread” but no option to mark it as read unless you read it or open it

I had to push a small update to android app including the privacy policy and I also removed the ? from the logo to reduce confusion.

So after the last few weeks of hard work put into the Vpinball app i can say all the push notifications seem to be working very well! I personally love getting them when a new upload is added or updated and many other alerts like getting a “like” or a “thanks” but as you know if you have app installed there is many other notifications you will get if you have the app installed.
I will say after over 500 (235 apple and 285 android) installs of the app very few people have provided feedback or a review so i honestly do not know if its working, people hate it or like it? I have much more improvements to the actual app coming to make it work better for posting, viewing photos and many other things but some feedback would be helpful either post here OR better yet maybe post review on either google or android stores? I have put countless hours into getting this to work and don’t even really know if people are enjoying the app
Some things i’m working on are:
Real night mode for app
Pinch zoom options(not easy as it seems)
Cleaner interface for posting(simple is better in app)
User preference color schemes(again not easy to do)
Option to select what notifications you get
All these things seem very simple but i’m no app dev so mostly trial and error with lots of testing so keep this in mind

Love the vpinball app, it has transformed the on-the-go VP experience. It was always such a pain in the ass to keep up on the phone, now it’s easy, organized and instantly accessible. You’ve done a helluva job on this Jason, your work is very much appreciatedÂ

I use it all the time. Works great for what I look at. I do have a couple requests. In messages can the enter/return NOT send the message but actually just go to a new line of text? Also can’t see image attachments in messages area.

Thanks for the hard work @randr, it is appreciated!
The app is a great tool to stay up to date when you are on the road, push notifications are working very good now.
It is much easier than using the web browser on the phone.One question regarding the app, when clicking on a thread within the “latest forum activity” folder, would it be possible to jump to the latest post instead to the first one?
