This is an update to the 10.6 version of VPVR. To my knowledge, the 10.7 version is not yet stable.

January 10, 2021 at 2:27 pm #219084Sebastian just responded to a post I made on VPForums. He Said IE: Also for the build I uploaded, its ported to the latest 10.7beta, has some tweaks and bugfixes, but the commits from Djrobx and Rawnei on the github repository are still missing. I try to add them next week.

Same thing. There may be some minor differences, but it’s based on the same code base.

February 3, 2021 at 10:18 am #222265I have a problem with a few tables, when I have enabled “Use external DMD” and use the VPinballX_GL from 28.12.2020 (also with older versions).
The tables crash.
I have to disable “Use external DMD” and the table work in VR.
As an example “24 (Stern 2009) 32assassin 2.0.1”.I’ve tested it with Freezy 1.7.1, 1.7.2 and 1.8.0. Every version crashed VR.
Where is the problem. Is it the VPinballX_GL-version or Freezy? And is it possible to fix the error?

I’ll need @caligulax to answer that. I’m having difficulty getting the VPVR 2021-03-15 build to run. Others have tested and said it runs for them. The editor doesn’t even pull up for me.

Then it’s from his sourceforge repo, I see.

March 16, 2021 at 10:09 am #229535@Rawnei I cherry-picked all changes (except for the commit “Use eastl::vector instead of std::vector” since I replaced all vectors in the shader code with arrays which should be improve the performance even more) from https://github.com/djrobx/vpvr/commits/select-updates and added my commits to:
https://sourceforge.net/p/vpvr/code/ci/10.6/tree/
@rothbauerw Did you extract all files from VPVR.zip or only the binary? I also updated the libraries a while ago (SDL, OpenVR…). And if a .dll file does not match the application will not start up at all.You need to login in order to like this post: click here

March 17, 2021 at 4:43 pm #229686Holy crap, they added rumble to the xbox controller! This is huge for people that made Pinsim based devices with the xbox vibration motors. Even let you pick the input API.
