This is an updated VR room for the excellent Addams Family vpx table by Sliderpoint, g5K and 3rdaxis.

VPVR and the understanding of VR has come a long way in 2 years, and 3rdaxis gave me the nod to upload my version of the table which fixes some of the issues on the VR side of things and adds a lot of performance optimisations along the way. There is both 3rdaxis’s original room and my minimal room which reduces overhead even more, which is switchable in the script.

Fantastic
this has made it possible to finally set this table up in much higher render and sampling resolutions. Many Many thanks. Compared both minimal and the original vr room settings once i’d optimised the steam and oculus resolutions and the original (non minimal) was unplayable. No complaints about the original, simply a computer which “shouldn’t” be powerful enough to cope – (Macbook pro 16 i7, 5300m – bootcamp debloated) well done !!
