~START YOUR ENGINES~
VR Room Conversion of the lovely Checkpoint table by Goldchicco & 32assassin. Special thanks to Sixtoe for his awesome VR starting packages, and for doing final tweaks on the table to help with my noob oversights.
Its my first VR conversion, and first timeĀ really digging into VPX editor, any constructive feedback is welcome! Used the Standard VR Minimal room, but updated images to fit the theme a bit more.
Special thanks to all those involved in the original VP9 table, and to goldchicco and 32assasin for doing the VPX conversion:
GoldChicco and 32Assasin- VP9 to VPX conversion
Bodydump, Requlem, Destruk and Batch for the VP9 version
DJLunchBox: Physics, mechanical sounds, tweaking
Sixtoe- For all things VR!

December 15, 2020 at 8:44 am #215136Looks like a fun table, but it isn’t working for me in VR on my cabinet.Ā None of the buttons – flippers, coin, start, plunger – work in VR.Ā If I start the game with regular VPX, the buttons work fine.Ā No issues with my other VR VPX games, so I’m not sure what is causing the issue.
[EDIT]Ā It was a “focus” issue.Ā When playing in VR via the VPX Editor, I have to either click on the “Visual Pinball Player SDL” icon (after starting the table in VR) in the taskbar, or use the vpxontop tool….https://vpinball.com/VPBdownloads/vpxontop/Ā Ā Ā I typically launch tables via B4Sti’s wonderful launcher, but this table is not yet in the script for the launcher.Ā I didn’t realize the launcher takes care of the focus issue.Ā So, if the table is added to the launcher, no issues.Ā If running from the editor, either click on the “Visual Pinball Player SDL” icon in the taskbar, or run “vpxontop.”
