A minimal VR Room for g5k’s excellent version of Terminator 2 from Williams.
I hadn’t actually played T2 in years, so this gave me a chance to get reacquainted with it, a very fast (and quite brutal!) game, only needed some minor tweaks here and there to get it looking right in VR and give it a bit more depth and fix some of the VR lighting problems.
Enjoy!

February 19, 2021 at 1:08 pm #224955awesome update, even for us non-VR users this one has a great out of the box POV for cabinet players and improved playability from the great G5k source version. Thank you @sixtoe!

February 20, 2021 at 11:41 pm #225291I don’t have a VR device so I’m playing in desktop mode and FS mode.
When I switch to FS mode in the editor and enable cabinet mode from the script, the siderails do not disappear. However, the script shows Cab_FS when in cabinet mode and does not show Pincab_Metals included in VRStuff.
I want to remove Pincab_Metals from VRStuff, uncheck Visible, and show / hide only Pincab_Metals in a script, but I can’t.
Cab_FS, Cab_DT, etc. can be shown / hidden by script.
I have no knowledge, so I’m not sure if only Pincab_Metals can be hidden.
How can I hide the siderails in cabinet mode in FS mode?- This reply was modified 3 years, 6 months ago by emuoyaji.

February 21, 2021 at 5:15 am #225329Untick “static” on Pincab_Metals and it should / might work, I don’t even know why it’s on.

March 1, 2021 at 4:26 pm #226918Awesome work as always, Sixtoe ! That laser guide is a great idea and very helpful. Say, my dmd shows all light blue. How do I turn it to its original orange ? Allowing the external dmd kills the table performance in VR.

March 1, 2021 at 4:57 pm #226927If you find the “DMD” flasher in the editor, you can basically set the colour from there, I just thought it matched the table :)

March 5, 2021 at 1:47 pm #227714hmm… I gonna need a little help. I went though the script manually and using “find” but could not find any line with reference to “dmd flasher” either together or separately. Which line would that be ? Classic orange is just easier to read.

March 6, 2021 at 4:07 pm #227906The “DMD” flashers is on the table itself, so find it there and click on it and change colour, layer 11, top middle, you’ll have to shift-click it as it’s part of a collection

March 7, 2021 at 4:38 pm #228148oh ok, got it now. It’s quite tricky. I always thought it was buried somewhere inside the script. Keep up the amazing work you do Sixtoe. You bring lots of happiness to us old arcade players of a bygone era ! Maybe you could work on “The machine: Bride of pinbot” or “Johnny Nmonic” next, in case you are taking requests =)
