VR version of the incredible T2 by nFozzy.
There are many T2 versions made for VPX and this one is my personal favourite. nFozzy really nailed the physics and the table plays excellent.
I created a grim looking VR world for this table and I hope you like it. Don’t forget to use the available color rom if you are into these kind of things :).
Credits go to:
– nFozzy for his incredible table (v1.1.2a)
– 3rdaxis for sharing his great VR work and the template for creating a VR Room
– Caligula for bringing us VPX VR via VPVR!
– Malenko for his coloring of T2Keep a close eye out for more releases, VR is going to be the future of visual pinball :).

January 4, 2020 at 8:55 pm #157051Hey senseless, Awesome job on this. While there are multiple great versions of this table, I also like this one the best.  Your VR room on this one is especially nice.  Thanks for sharing this with us all!

January 4, 2020 at 10:11 pm #157062I love G5K tables but I also prefer slightly this version. Not a slight on G5K or any other authors, I think the flippers are just tuned to how they play. Plus it has (if I recall) that awesome T800 head movement when hit AND it also has some neat GI effects via the magna saves.
Maybe someday someone will make the other T2’s available into a VR Room version. As it is, I appreciate what you’ve done and will be testing this out tomorrow.

The color rom display is an option you can use if there is a color rom version available. Make sure the color rom is working outside VPVR. You can check this by installing Freezy’s dmdext (ver 1.7.1) and enable the external dmd and color option via the settings in vpinmame. You can also bring the settings screen up during gameplay (press F1).
If the color rom is working the ONLY thing you have to do is to enable the “capture external dmd” option via the settings under Preferences/Key Nudge and DOF. Very IMPORTANT: only enable this after you have ran 1 table without this setting. Exit the table and then enable te option. If you do not follow this process VPVR will crash.
Also make sure you disable this setting again after your done with playing, to ensure the next time you start a table VPVR will not crash on you.
The backglass option I use is fairly easy to do, but looks great (imho). The standerd Clean Room template includes also elements for spreakers, the dmd panel etc. I do not use these. I just extend the dmd backglass element to cover the whole backbox and project the image of the backglass with grill on this.

January 5, 2020 at 10:47 am #157125You have to change the dimensions of the primitive. It’s called Primary_backglass and you probably need to change the Z value to 4.1 or something similar. I included a screenshot.
You can select an element (the mentioned primitive) via Edit/Select Element.
Good luck :).

February 29, 2020 at 12:44 pm #165316Thanks for the great tables in VR! I am a newbie, and I have my Quest working, got the table to come up, but it is behind me, not in front. If I move, then I can see the table but not touch my keyboard and thus cannot play. Can you direct me to a post or process of moving the table in VR without physically moving? Thanks!

March 3, 2020 at 1:05 pm #165574When running a table via vpvr you can use your numpad to:
0 – reset the view
2 an8 lower and higher the table
Try to reset the view. In addition check your vr settings in vpvr how your initial position is defined.

May 20, 2020 at 1:39 am #181300Great table, great job porting it to a vr room! Any way to change the DMD from grey to the classic orange color? Not sure I want to spring for the color dmd just yet.
