I updated the WN vpx script area to point to the filename for the DB2S file but it still doesn’t display. Any tips on this I should double check? I had no issues with Star Trek or any others.

I still get no scoring (backglass), and didn’t find anything obvious in the script to turn the B2S on and the naming is correct.

I never see the backglass on either monitor and no errors.

I made that file and placed it in the tables, base \VPX dir and with the WN table, and still no backglass, still no errors either.

Used exact files out of the .zip and even extra to match the file name exacted, still nothing.

Does this one use ScreenRes.txt as well?    I am using one that worked on others.

You shouldnt have to make that file .. try starting VPx as administrator and see i fthat works for you. (it should create the file and startup)

I looked at mine, it should be in visual pinball/user folder  

Make sure that is set to 1 not 0

Has anyone got the DMD image to show on this B2s? I tried the one in the download and also the 1.1 version posted in the B2S area, but can’t get it to show.

No. Probably just requires a tweak in B2S Designer. I’ll take a look in a day or two and post instructions or a patch or something. HF is not around to give permission to mod.

Instructions to get the DMD image to display in this Whoa Nellie dB2S:

1. Download B2S Designer – http://vpuniverse.com/forums/files/category/43-b2s-designer-install-support-files/
2. Copy the contents of the archive file to some folder on your hard drive (perhaps C:\B2S Backglass Designer) and run the executable
3. File -> Import ‘directB2S’ backglass file… and then import the file
4. File -> Settings…
5. In the Settings dialog, ‘B2S DMD’ location setting: pulldown -> select ‘B2S DMD’ only on DMD (‘third monitor’) and then click Ok
6. Backglass -> Create ‘directB2S’ backglass file

The designer will output to a Projects\nellie folder that it creates

That’s it!

not a MustHave but there’s an Image for that …

That would be haunts backglass. couple years ago i didn’t have uploads working so i had to add uploads myself but things have got much better now!
