The table looks very good, but it doesn’t work for me, because “Line 116: game name not found”. I download the le-rom and the pro-rom from the Stern-Page and test the game with both. Before I name the rom “xmen_151”. What’s the name for the bin-file in the rom? If I check the rom with vpinmame test, there is no entry for the rom.
What am I doing wrong? By the way: I have the same problem with the VP9-version. Some other Stern-pinballs are OK. Thanks for your help.

Hm, sadly, this doesn’t help. With that rom the same error occurs.
Can’t get the table to run. And it’s also not be seen in VPinMameTest.

You need the Sam vpinmame available at vpuniverse. The author of that Sam version has not posted it here so that’s only place to get it

I’m using one but not sure where it came from, it’s not the best quality but it’s not a picture of a backglass at least
There’s 2 on VPU that look better, I’m sure you’ve seen them
actually it looks like I’m using the Pro backglass from Wildman’s upload. Same quality as his LE backglass. Download 32assassin’s (magneto) directb2s for best quality

I’m using his Pro backglass too, that shows the whole x-men team, magneto, juggernaut, etc… but I found a much better image that I inserted instead of the one he was using. Unfortunately, because the snippets were from the old image I just got rid of them so its a static image with a grill, but it doesn’t look bad.
*edit* On a side note, I think Wildman makes some really killer backglasses.

Yeah, this one is actually pretty good… the only difference is the snippet characters and x-men logo don’t pop out quite as much, but it looks decent. Image is a lot crisper.

Updated to the latest table version. Plays great. But with the table upgrade, the apron image is so dark it is almost black and does not respond to the day/night slider like the playfield does. Any suggestions? Thanks for all your fantastic tables.

Maybe select the apron ramp object in the editor and disable lighting in the options on the right? It’s a checkbox, might work but I think it will look funny!

Got the apron image to show up. Set environment emission image to “none” on lighting under table options. Now looks great!
