Anyone here using Zeb’s plunger in their cabinet? Â I have it working pretty well in VP10, although it seems a little inconsistent. Â In Pinball Arcade, it doesn’t react to the first half of the pull back.
What are other experience? Â Thanks!

July 18, 2016 at 9:21 pm #33550I don’t play tpa in cab but in vp10 the plunger is perfect. Nudge is not great but that’s a vp10 thing so… I’m sure you can calibrate the plunger in tpa I would think anyways

July 18, 2016 at 10:54 pm #33552Same for me as @randr Zeb’s plunger works great on all visual pinball tables that have mechanical plunger. I think i calibrated the first time after that it just works, i even have the “zeb launch” working through DOF for Attack from Mars, Medieval Madness. Etc.

July 19, 2016 at 8:44 am #33556How do you guys feel about the 2 sec release? You pull it back and if you hold it releases after 2 seconds. I’m not sure I like it. I’d like the plunger to behave like a real plunger. I find it’s releasing while I’m still trying to fine tune my shot.

July 26, 2016 at 1:57 am #33894Not a fan of the auto release myself. I understand why it is there though. It’s to reset the start position in case the plunger gets stuck/sheath slides over time. Zeb just released a firmware update but I haven’t had a chance to see what it does or changes.

August 17, 2016 at 6:02 am #34786In vp9 i have some tables that didn’t function with the plunger, but only on button press. These are not tables that have a auto launch in the real thing. For example banzai run or bad cats. It’s there a way to fix this? It’s this a zeb plunger issue or a lack in the table script?

August 17, 2016 at 7:28 am #34788yes some tables need script mods to enable mechanical plunger. Its not a zeb issue but a scripting issue or lack of scripting for a real plunger.
