Don’t know if this has been brought up before, but evidently Zen is making their own cabinet hardware. We don’t get to see the cab in this video (I don’t think, have not watched all of it) but Dead Flip who normally streams real pinball is testing their cab. Like the title says has full touchscreen playfield (evidently stole the idea from randr’s coffee table), and feedback coils and nudge.

Depends on the price. The vid shows there isn’t anything to special from our perspective. But it is loaded with feedback stuff. So if it’s less than vpcabs could be a good deal for those that don’t want to build.

If they didn’t have such a crappy menu system and actually fixed it to work with just flipper buttons, then they wouldn’t need a touch screen. On the other hand, some of their fx3 tables are really well done. A lot more content and table changes than in the past. I’m still finding new things on tables all the time. I see Rusty’s comment, but he obviously hasn’t played all the tables.
FX3 isn’t meant to replace VPX, but it’s a nice change not to hit one ramp and some targets over and over again without anything happening on the table. Not to mention the graphics updates on FX3 are huge improvement. Jurassic Park series is really fun.
I’m wondering if they took DDH69’s work to do this? If they were smart, they would just hire him.
