I see when the game 1st loads up it puts a ball in the shooter lane before you start the game
Mine does not do this. Maybe try a different rom or deleting the nvram file. Just a guess though.
Ive tested on 10.6 on my cab and 10.7 beta on my laptop and neither do this UNLESS you hit f3 to restart the rom file. But just starting the game normally does no trigger the ball until you hit start game (1).DOF – I have no idea on that stuff.

It is a neat feature and a fun table. I made the beacon bigger so it would show on more of my screen. Though seems there is an issue with the table sometimes. One of the stoppers gets hung up and you cannot complete some of the modes. That was a while back though. Not sure if dozer fixed that or not.

Check Rescue 911 by dozer. There is a rotating beacon off screen at the top.

I have changed my ultra dmd to a custom size. Let me look to see where I changed that info. I want to say it was a registry. Ill look to be sure. You also could not open the ultradmd options screen or it would change back.

Just started breaking this one down today. Watched a video one how to play it. Great table! A lots more fun than I expected. Its amazing how much better a table is once you understand the rules.

it is located in the USER folder in the root of the visual pinball folder.
EDIT – That may have been the vp9 version… let me verify.
EDIT – yep, that was the vp9 version that saved it to the user folder. last update was in 2015. So not sure where this one is saved.
EDITÂ – So looks like it writes to the VPReg.stg file in the users folder. not sure how to change that information safely.

February 20, 2020 at 6:57 am in reply to: RESOLVED: Popper loads tables much slower than standalone VPX #164103@Bruce – yep, Though I didn’t officialy time it with a watch. just counted –Â 1 Mississippi 2 Mississippi, etc. I do run the transparent loading videos. I also haven’t done any of that other stuff you guys mentioned about making a .res file and such. I can time it a few more times to get an average. I just knew my load times were not even close to what was mentioned by jdsabin1.

I see the same massive stutter when the ball is coming out of the shooter lane. More going up the shooter lane I should say. Though haven’t noticed it anywhere else on the table. But I have only played it a handful of times.

Tna PupDMD is in fact being done by myself and some others within the community. You can find the prototype videos on Facebook. As I said before, it will take sometime to complete this.
HA! I knew I wasn’t crazy…..yet. Thanks for working on this Pinballfan!
