Finally got around to playing today.
Very well done!
Thank you for a great table.

Hi I am having an issue with exiting the table from within pinballX. It is a PUP Error. I don’t think I get the error from within the editor (Without PinballX).
I am updated in PUP and a couple versions behind in pinballx. It is happening on both of my cabs. Wondering if anyone is having the same issue. Any help would be great.
Thanks, this will be fixed in next release.
Did this get fixed in version 1.0.1? Mine does this still with the latest version unless I do not use Force Full Screen. It’s the only PUP table I have that gives me this error when closing from PinballX.
Thanks

I see this has been asked several times already but I don’t see the answer, sorry.
Table plays great for me but PUP will not close from PinballX and gives me the application error. It will work if I do not use Force Exclusive Fullcreen in VPX but I need to force full screen for other tables and performance. Any guidance would be appreciated!

So should there be content shown on the DMD, if we have a PinDMD3 or similar? I don’t get anything on mine, and I have tried many combinations of settings.
Worked almost right out of the zip for me. Believe all I did was make sure that DMDMode = 2 ( line 25 ) and PupDMDDriverType = 1 ( line 47 ).
I get a script error with my PinDMD3 so I have to leave the Pup driver type as the LCD option “0”. I’m fine with this though.

Mine does this too upon exiting. I just deleted all files and reloaded with the newest version of the table and it still does it. Any help would be appreciated.
Super fun table BTW. Thank you!

Thank you for this table! With recent VPX releases of Earthshaker, Apollo 13, Independence Day and Stargate this was the last one on my wish list of VP9 tables to be done in VPX.

Beautiful table. Thank you for the hard work. For the life of me I can’t get the back glass to load from PinballX. Loads fine directly from VP10.6. I have the newest versions of all software. Even tried different back glasses. Any ideas what the problem could be?
Thanks,
Mark

Just WOW! What a beauty! Big thank you to you and the hard working team! Can’t wait to try it out!
The flippers don’t work for me eitherÂ

I added the diodes to the knocker and the shaker motor and moved the VPin Controller to it’s own USB port. The contactors already had diodes installed.
This seems to have fixed the problem … almost.
I tested it out with an hour of game play on various tables without issue and I was ready to consider the problem solved when I heard the “disconnected” chime from Windows and my buttons stopped working for about 2 seconds. Only this time when it reconnected the plunger still worked. I played for another 30 minutes without issue.
So adding the diodes to all toys (and maybe connecting the VPin Controller to it’s own USB port) virtually eliminated the problem. For me at least.
Thanks again guys for your help.

Thanks for the feedback guys and the link.
The VPinController is V3.
I will add the diode and report back.

Thanks Thalamus. That did the trick. Weird I still do not have any LEDs for my Star Trek SE table? Everything else seems to be good though.

Well you just solved my problem.
I didn’t have a “GlobalConfig_B2SServer.xml” file so I Googled it and found this thread https://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=33219
where the poster stated he MUST use that exact name when creating his GlobalConfig file. I was just calling it something else. Anyway, I created another one and used that exact name and now everything works!
I don’t think I ever saw anything in the set up instructions and videos that stated what to name that globalconfig.xml file but there it is.
Thank youMark

This is a really nice looking table and I love playing but there is an issue I have experienced several times.
When the ball goes up the ramp and hits the shark, it gets stuck behind one of the chutes (see photo).
Thanks

Thanks guys.
I did not have pinupmenu.exe set to run as administrator so now it seems to be working again.
It’s always worked before so it’s weird.
Thalamus, I too have had to reboot in the past to play a PinUp table(s) more than once so I tried that first.
Anyway, the problem must be resolved because it is working again.
Thanks again!

I downloaded this table a while back and have always been hopeful this meant we would have a TBL table soon but it looks like nothing has progressed. Some great “homage” tables have been created for tables like Ghostbusters, Kiss 2015 and Wizard of Oz so I would think this one should be in high demand.
I’m afraid to ask but is there a reason this one is seemingly on the back burner?
Thanks, Mark

Thanks RandR.
I own a Bally Space Invaders that I just spent several hours adding an LED conversion to.
I love it but it’s kind of boring.
I will be doing a lot of research before I try to build a VP machine.
