Don’t hold your breath waiting for someone to make this – it’s regarded as one of the worst modern pinballs ever made. Check the debacle of a thread on Pinside.

Just reporting a couple bugs found by players on this awesome game that we are playing in an online tourney here: https://www.aussiearcade.com/showthread.php/99715-VPGL12-Game-7-HAUNTED-HOUSE
1 – Ball gets stuck in Cellar kickout/capture and game can’t continue. can’t tilt the ball out, and there doesn’t seem to be a ball search facility to release the ball on a time out.
2 – ball gets stuck just before Left hand cellar flipper sometimes, see pic

March 23, 2019 at 1:06 am in reply to: The Addams Family (Bally 1992) V2 – G5K, Sliderpoint, 3rdAxis #119327Hi guys, thank you for thenew TAF!
the table loads and attract mode displays, as soon as i press the start button – i get this script error.
“Line 1, object not a collection” – am using latest VP10.6 Beta and have scripts all in right places etc
I’ve also tried an earlier version (rev 3592) on advice from others about a conflict between later than 3592 versions and the latest SAM Pinmame., but I get the same error.
any help much appreciated, thank you.
There must be a problem with your install. This error comes up regularly on a range of tables, not sure what the solution is, it’s not specific to this table (see attached searching on this site, you may need to hunt through the support threads of other tables for a solution or try reinstalling. Make sure you use 7-zip to unzip the vpx beta and the table files so files are unblocked).
Thanks for the help G5K, I’ll try those things you suggested. I know that i have never used 7zip i only ever have used winrar for more than 20 years now, old habits die hard ! If that doesn’t help i’ll try reinstalling as you suggested.

fantastic, thank you. I’m a fan of Zaccarias, I used to own a Magic Castle which i loved. Zac’s are so colourful, so different. But they are a b1itch to work on, and kinda flaky.
Look forward to Time Machine! that moving platform is cool, I played one at a Pinball meet recently.
I can hope that someone has some good resources for Magic Castle. It would be so cool if a backglass could be done that replicates the door / Zacula

I had a buddy of mine come interstate to visit and stay the last three days, and he simply couldn’t stop playing this game – it was the game he went back to over and over of hundreds of tables on my cab.
This is a beautifully done table. One of the nicest EM’s in VPX. We’re old school pinballers, so we love the EM’s and this is a very welcome addition!
(his best score and still the highest on my cab is 322k. Pretty good score on this game!)
Thanks BorgDog, great table.

Yeah, you read ozg crap everywhere. Also at the center of causing all that BS for TT + NZ.
And then hiding behind the disingenuous ‘sorry if the words don’t come out right’ BS, you know exactly what you’re saying. And no, your particular brand of ‘free speech’ doesn’t make the world go round. It just poisons it.
Basically, he’s a troll. So, you know what they say about trolls. Don’t feed ém

thank you very much to the table authors. this is one of my favourite tables in real life and one of my personal favourite themes, having watched all 7 seasons of STTNG several times through!
the lighting effects are gorgeous and the physics and gameplay are very close to the real thing. file this one under ‘masterpiece’ where i have also filed Diner, and Champions League in the last couple weeks.

fantastic looking table and it plays great. i have some issues when using pin2dmd though – the pin2dmd slows down to a crawl when ball 3 is completed and it takes forever to get to game over state. also, sometimes when the crossbow is loaded, also the pin2dmd slows down to a crawl, all animations are slow etc. i got all the latest .dlls and vpm and the LE rom and double cheese and bbq sauce just to be on the safe side. does anyone else have issues with this table when running pin2dmd ?
another issue i have is if i tilt the game when the ball is loaded in the crossbow. the game can’t seem to deal with it and it stays in tilt mode. it tries to eject then find balls endlessly without success, need to reset.
when it does run, it plays beautifully on my machine, no stutter at all. (i5, 970gtx, 8gb)

thank you, embarrassed, didn’t realise i missed that last beta release.
the search on vpf = needle/haystack. you search on 10.2 beta in the forums, and the thread doesn’t come up…. i ended up typing vpx 10.2 beta into google and it found it straight away

Amazing job on this table! I used to own one of these machines and you really nailed this one! Thanks to all for this great table. Thanks to Hauntfreaks for the amazing B2S backglass as well. I think I’ll play a few games right now…wonderful!!
Ok… I feel like a noob here but I am totally lost … I get the same as above “For some reason I keep getting this error when trying to use the flippers – Line 312 variable is undefined – ‘DOFFlippers’. ” I have downloaded and installed the 10.2 beta files from this site and installed them… No duplicate script files anywhere. I have been beaten by this beast for two hours. I deleted the .nv and cfg. files for Xfiles rom and that did not help either.. I do not have feedback on my cabinet. All other VP10 tables run fine but on this one as soon as I touch the flipper, it errors out with above.

Step 1: Download the latest VPX beta from this link: http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=35311&page=1#entry350690 Step 2: Copy all the files from the VP beta download into your local VP installation folder and replace the existing files Step 3: Copy the files from the VP beta script download folder into your local VP script installation folder and replace the existing files
THANK YOU! at last a clear and concise reply to a common problem for many people with getting this table to work

this table seems very dark, compared to… well, all my other tables. I’d like to be able to see the flippers much more clearly (even when I’m straight.) What is the easiest way to lighten the playfield ? thanks !
Slid the night and day slider built right into The VP editor to the right.
Thank you :) I’m still new to vp10, sorry for the dumb question…
