VR Room Twilight Zone (Skitso Mod 2.0)
The latest release from Team rothborski. Two VR room versions are included here, a compressed and uncompressed. The compressed version has lower resolution textures to help boost performance on some setups. You can also disable the back wall and floor with the right magna save or the cabinet details with the left magna save. --- This has been in works for months and we're finally happy to introduce it to the community. Since my last version, a lot has happened to this table: Skitso made a complete visual overhaul with all the new stuff he's learned since v. 1.5 about a year ago. There's new inserts, new textures, new lights, new shadows, new flashers, a lot of added detail etc. all with a Skitso level of polish and attention to detail you all are accustomed of from Skitso. Then there's a completely overhauled, best in class gameplay and physics, by no other than rothbauerw, the king of physics. He also rewrote a lot of the scripting, fixed issues with GI and clock lights, added sounds and offered a lot of support and help in all the ways possible. Bord also stepped in, providing the table a new mesh playfield, a new ramp model, a new lampshade model and a new scoop model, all top notch quality as usual. A huge special thanks to this team. It's a privilege to be able to work with such talent. Thank you guys! --- Launch post with few more close up images: https://vpinball.com/forums/topic/twilight-zone-skitso-detail-mod/page/7/#post-162297 --- The goal was to recreate this classic pinball as faithfully as possible. There are some visual mods available to enable in the top part of the script, but they are not part of Skitso's artistic vision on this table, so it is suggested to leave them off. Also changing POV will mess few lighting effects, so that should not be done unless absolute necessity. --- This table mod is based on Ninuzzu's table. (Thanks for letting us mod it!) Original authors for this table are: Ninuzzu, coindropper, nFozzy, JPSalas, Tom Tower, Hauntfreaks, Flupper and Zany. We also borrowed some FSS work from Acronovum. Thanks and sorry if we missed some one. Read Morerothbauerw 1003 downloads

(Big Betty's) Truck Stop
Big Betty’s Truck Stop is a pinball machine from 1988 and manufactured by Bally Manufacturing Co. This was the first game following the merger of Williams and Bally/Midway. Lots of ramps, slingshots, lights, and a cool trucker theme make this table really fun to play! I would like to send a very special thanks to the following: - sindbad : For being able to use his VP9 table resources as a great starting point. - JPSalas : Improved table physics thanks to JPs "Arcade Physics 3.0" materials, script changes, and techniques. - flupper, nFozzy, and others : Flipper physics, flasher lighting, etc. - BrandonLaw : Playfield and plastics cleanup and enhancement of Sindbad’s resources - bigus1 : Beta testing and lighting tweeks - VPX development team: As always, thanks for your work in keeping VP alive and well - To anyone I may have forgotten, please let me know and I'll add you. Note: There’s some confusion that this table was or wasn’t released a few years ago for VPX. I cannot find anywhere that it was officially put out so I made my own for VPX. Laser Cue(Williams 1984)Alternate.directb2s
Since Andrew Walsh started making the DMD overlays I have been using the external DMD or led reels for all tables. These are also almost always built into the back glass. When Laser Cue (great table by the way!) came out for vpx10, I got the idea to remove the led reels and fill in the gaps using Gimp. As a basis I used Wildman’s back glass file for Laser Cue. So most of the credits go to him. He's also given permission to publish this. Sorry about my English, Google translate ;-) Cordsl Read MoreCordsl 139 downloads

***Rev.3.0 - Remade table based in v3.0 table by JPSalas. New fantasy light BG (created by me) and minor update lights efects for FSS format. This is a modification of the JPSalas table, conversion to the FSS (Full Single Screen) format by me. All the modification was done through Nick's guidelines (Arconovum). Thank you very much for the guide videos. Well, I hope you like it, you can improve it, but it's a great start to have fun in this table format. Obs: Lighting backglass fantasy (the original is static). Thanks to everyone involved in creating Visual Pinball and creating the tables, without you the fun would not be the same. *From now on in File Author, I will also place the author of the original table in addition to mine, I would do that in the text, but I will also include this point. *My native language is portuguese, so if the English got bad, I'm sorry. VR ROOM Fire!
VR version of Fire! Rotating color cylinder under playfield simulates building on fire. The player must quickly "put out fires" when they appear in various places on the playfield, by either completing a bank of targets or making a lit shot. Each end of a large horseshoe lane is protected by ramps that raise and lower. When lowered, they deliver the ball to ball locks. Upper playfield has a ramp that raises and lowers during play, allowing a ball to enter an elevated opening for multiball. VR version includes interactive backglass, integrated digits and the bell topper. Enjoy this great table. Credits go to: - UncleWilly and Randr for the vpx version and DJRobX for the update (version 2.0) - Caligula for bringing us VPX VR via VPVR! - Wrd1972 and Bord for their work on version 2.0. UncleWilly and Randr for their amazing VP9 original, and Randr for guidance on the left lock behavior. 32Assassin for his VPX rebuild of the script and table. HauntFreaks for color-correcting sling areas so they light up properly. RustyCardores for PMD™ input. Whirl-Wind (Gottlieb 1958)
Whirl-Wind is a great example of a classic Gottlieb woodrail. Like many of this era, it has gobble holes, a roto target, alternating scoring lamps and a lot of bumpers. What makes this game unique is the center kicker between the flippers that launches the ball toward the roto target. It keeps the gameplay lively and offers a unique flipper configuration. @scorpion approached me about building this game some months ago. He provided photos and even measurements. From there I started rebuild/redraw work on the playfield and plastics. Thankfully @scottacus was available on the scripting side of things. A quick word about what Scott was able to accomplish for this game: the peculiarities of how a roto target works, how it spins, stops, and indexes, were all thought through and brought to life in the coolest way possible. Even the lamps at the gobble holes light properly as the target spins. It is really something to see. So extra thanks to Scott beyond his normal excellence at bringing EMs to life for the ingenuity on display. Source images: scorpion Scripting/rules/ideas: scottacus Graphics/models/physics: bord Thanks also to the handful of beta testers that offered great feedback. Game notes: Two POV files are included in the download. One leaves the table at 1:1 and includes the woodrails, the other fills the screen w/ the playfield. The script has an option to enable the manual ball lift (authentic). I modeled the entire cabinet for this game so if someone is inclined to create a VR version I'm happy to share my files for it. Don't smoke. It looks cool but only another smoker will ever want to kiss you. Also it is really bad for you. Read Morebord 764 downloads

VR ROOM Corvette (Midway 1994) Minimal
Added the VR conversions to this table that was done by Goldchicco & 32assassin (along with help from Mussinger, Frank Hollinger, and many others), and originally done by 85Vett in VP9. Thanks go to all of them for their amazing work, and this fun to play table! Sixtoe provided a once over and did a couple additional tweaks. Goldchicco gave me permission to add this table to VR, thank you!. I had to mod the side race track to keep within the cabinet, and have the cars also drive in the z axis. A few other minor tweaks to get it all in the cabinet. Sixtoe modded the ramps slightly to better fit in the cab, as well as a few other minor things related to primatives and entrances. Enjoy! This was a labor of love pinball table created as a dedication to the late, great filmmaker George A. Romero, who single-handedly created and stamped the "zombie" genre with his original classic "Night of the Living Dead" in 1968. This film set the benchmark and tone for all "zombie" movies and TV shows that followed. Had he not made this great film that terrified millions of people, the zombie trend that is now upon us would have never existed, ever. How many filmmakers created a genre that has been imitated, copied and downright ripped off like the one he started on a shoe-string budget? None. When I first saw this incredible B&W classic in the late 70s - early 80s, it absolutely changed my life. I was in awe of how he was able to create tension and fear without ANY blood and guts at all. It turns out, when they made the film, they had a very small budget and couldn't afford anything like that ... but DID add these elements in later films like "Dawn of the Dead" in 1978. For his amazing creativity, wonderful personality, and moral message within each of his films, he was truly one of a kind, and will be missed. He may be gone ... but his incredible movies will be watched and remembered forever. George A. Romero (1940 – 2017) - father, film maker, friend, may you rest in peace. ------------- This is a graphics and sound mod of Out of Sight (Gottlieb 1974). Thanks to Loserman76 for allowing us to mod his original table. I chose his table because it played perfectly to what I wanted for this new table design and could be adjusted and modified fairly easily. His exact words when asked permission were: "Go for it!". Original Out of Sight (Gottlieb 1974) can be found here: http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=13254 Every graphic / image from the original table has been re-drawn (from scratch), heavily modified, or swapped out completely for new ones for a brand new layout. Multiple elements were also moved and adjusted to work with the new layout design. This table would not have been possible without the hard work, dedication and collaboration from Xenonph. Well known for his great sound and "flashers" mods to several tables, this time around he REALLY "stepped up to the plate" and took a BIG swing at adding all the additional features of sound, lighting, and additional extensive scripting this table needed. I am very grateful to have collaborated with such a talent as him. With every project, he goes over and above what is expected and never ceases to amaze me to how much he contributes to making tables and here on the forums. I can't thank him enough for weeks of time he put into making this table with me. This new table is NOT a solo release. This is a collaborative release from both me (HiRez00) AND Xenonph. There are 2 versions of this Night of the Living Dead (1968) table you can download: NOTLD-68 Mod v.1.x and NOTLD-68 Grunge-Mod v.1.x. NOTLD-68 Mod v.1.x is the standard 'clean and new' looking version. NOTLD-68 Grunge-Mod v.1.x is a totally 'distressed' and 'grunge' looking version as if this table was originally designed by Gottlieb and built and then stored in an old barn or warehouse for 40+ years ... to be recently discovered and played. Both tables play exactly the same and use the same custom 'Music' files. The grunge mod started as an experiment to see if we could do it realistically, and it turned out amazing. I am partial to the 'Grunge-Mod' version and prefer that version now. Because this was originally a EM (Electro-Mechanical) table, there are no ROMs to download or install. Place the files in the 'music' folder in your music folder located where you installed Visual Pinball - VPX. (DO NOT PLAY THE MUSIC AS THIS MAY ADD A TAG TO MP3 AND RENDER MP3 USELESS!!) If you would like to change the game options / settings (3 ball and 5 ball and bonus options), when game is not in progress, holding down left flipper for about 3-5 seconds will bring up the options menu. Left Flipper selects item and Right flipper changes option. An original 'Wheel Image Pack' with multiple versions of the wheel logos can be downloaded here: http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?app=downloads&showfile=13586 If you plan on using this table in a cabinet, we have created 2 versions of the backglass, one in approx 4x3 aspect ratio and one in 16x9 aspect ratio for widescreen monitors. You can download the original backglass files here: http://www.vpforums.org/index.php?showtopic=40476 DOF commands (as in the original table) are included within the script, but you will need to add the functionality to your DirectOutputConfig.ini file as this is an EM table that has not been added to DOF. For those of you (like me) that are using a PinDMD3, we have included a folder of DMD images and MP4 videos you can use in conjuncture with whatever front end software you are using so your DMD will not remain blank or static during game play. All pics, trademarks, logos and sounds belong to their respectful owners. This table is for personal home, and non-commercial entertainment use only. Most of the media used to create this table is freely available on the internet and should be consider as non-profit fan art. - - - - - - - - This project took considerable time ... so "thanks" or comments in the support topic would be greatly appreciated. FSS MOD Nascar / Dale Jr. LE (Stern 2005/2007)
***Rev.3.0 - New BB and BG, insertion Dale Jr pach by 32Assassin (Thanks for this patch), and attempt to insert JP Salas' physics 3.0 (I think it looks good, but not perfect). * I will keep version 2.0 of the table, because it is the original Nascar version, version 3.0 is the LE Dale Jr. version, in version 3.0 the main change is only visual and the insertion of the JPSalas physics (attempt, as I said, was not perfect, but I thought it was good). This is a modification of the Requiem table, conversion to the FSS (Full Single Screen) format by me. This is an update of Nick's version (Arconovum) because his FSS base is version 0.8 and this is version 1.01 of Requiem. All the modification was done through Nick's guidelines (Arconovum). Thank you very much for the guide videos. Well, I hope you like it, you can improve it, but it's a great start to have fun in this table format. Thanks to everyone involved in creating Visual Pinball and creating the tables, without you the fun would not be the same. Well, this is a great new title that could not be missing in the FSS format. Guardians Of The Galaxy
I loved GOTG ever since I first played it and when I got into VPX it was the first game I wanted to play but alas it didn’t exist and everything I read people said it never would. So I decided that had to change and set out to create my first VPX table. It was a lot to learn in a short amount of time but I had some great help along the way. I hope everyone enjoys it. I did my very best to make it as close to the real one as possible. If something is incorrect its not because it wasn’t possible I just probably missed it. DOWNLOAD THE PUPPACK - LINK IN THE INSTALLATION TAB. PupPack: For the full experience you will want PuP so go get the latest one installed. There are batch files in the root of the puppack folder that set things up for the different table configs I support. I also coded the Real DMD that can be used by itself since I don’t like something sitting there blank. Ultra is in there but I don’t recommend it. It a very last resort. NOTE: YOU WILL NEED 1.4.5 PINUP: https://www.nailbuster.com/wikipinup/doku.php?id=release_notes Defaults to LCD DMD now. IF YOU HAVE A REAL DMD: In the script set line 45, DMD MODE to 1 There is also a README.txt that explain the script options at the top for things like CLELAND music mode, callouts, table vibration etc.. Comments: Please post comments regarding things I might have missed. I might not respond but I will gather them all up and evaluate each one to verify with the real table. Raven (Gottlieb 1986) 1.4
Raven Pinball, this project started as a mod of Rascal's VPX conversion and the resources started to flow in so it got a complete facelift. It all started with a set of new posts, targets, bumpers, plastics, etc. Once the playfield was populated, Bord created an amazing new primitive ramp for the top left and the large clear one in the center. Then I found a cheap helicopter shell online and Bord did his magic to make it come to life on VPX. Great job on the modeling. The script needed an upgrade to match so Bord and 32Assassin came up with something to make the table all come together and act just like the real thing. Special thanks to all that contributed (in order of completion): Rascal for getting this started with your VPX conversion Bord for all the primitives, work on the lights and script to get this playing like the real table. For the amazing helicopter model and all the testing to get it working great. And lastly for putting up with me! 32Assassin for all your work on the script and for all the advice along the way Randr for all your time testing and getting this looking and playing great. Arngrim for all you work updating the DOF Thalamus for all your help testing and improvements on the sounds and gameplay And lastly to all those that paved the way for this table with your work on previous versions like ICPJuggla, GTXJoe, Wildman, Dark, and others. Hope I didn't leave anyone out. Lastly don't forget to update your DOF and look forward to a mod of this table if you don't like the 80s chick... Read MoreTom 1710 downloads

For the helicopter I added an Mi-24 Hind from the movie. Randr helped make some changes to the primitive, thanks! FSS MOD Rollercoaster Tycoon (Stern 2002)
***Rev.2.0 - New release based in JP Salas 3.0 version. Totally remade FSS version. This is a modification of the JP Salas table, conversion to the FSS (Full Single Screen) format by me. All the modification was done through Nick's guidelines (Arconovum). Thank you very much for the guide videos. What's new in the FSS version? ... Well, here we go: - Insertion of BB and BG, with fantasy BG lighting created by me; - insertion of the Day & Night code and other table lighting effects, giving a better visual effect and realism; - and I think that's it. Well, I hope you like it, you can improve it, but it's a great start to have fun in this table format. Thanks to everyone involved in creating Visual Pinball and creating the tables, without you the fun would not be the same. *My native language is portuguese. Read MoreMorttis 309 downloads
