  • VR version of the incredible Baywatch.

Kiwi did an excellent job on this vpx version. I created a new basement to host this beauty so we can also enjoy it in VR!

There are specific VR table options available in the script. You can use these to turn on/off VR objects and some gxf stuff. Be sure to check it out :).

    Credits go to:

    - Kiwi for his excellent table (v1.0.0)

    - Caligula for bringing us VPX VR via VPVR!

Keep a close eye out for more releases, VR is going to be the future of visual pinball :).

Make sure your VPVR is working :).

V1.0.1: The ramps were not visible due to the glass primitive. Had to change the depth bias of both ramps and glass primitive.

Sorry guys, I was too quick… still waiting approval on my upload over at vpforums. Didn’t expect it to take so long…

If I follow the download link I’m able to download it so hope it’s working now.

I updated Baywatch. The glass primitive of the cabinet prevented the ramps to be visible. Had to change the depth bias of both ramps and glass (thanks rawd for the help :).

This is an awesome table. But my DMD gets cut off at the bottom. I’m using Freezy’s DMD and the large Baywatch SEGA screen is clipped at the 2/3rd mark. Has anyone else had this problem and any advice on how to fix it?

This should not happen. Did you move anything (like the dmd flasher object)?

Which version of Freezy are you running and how did you set your dmddevice.ini?

Try setting the resize to fit in you ini file.

      thx for this great table.

but it only plays at 45-50 fps…all my other tables have 90 fps.  CPU frametime is high. how can I fix this issue?

Unfortunately depending on your hardware and your SS settings , some tables are just a bit too much for these awesome VR rooms.  What is frame-y for you, is perfectly smooth for others.  For me, my personal preferences is as high an SS setting as possible and as perfectly smooth as possible.  With that in mind, if you are faced with similar issues as I have, you have two choices:

      • delete a lot of the VR room objects.  Each of these can affect the table
      • add the DMD to the regular 2D version and play that one in VR.  I found on that version with high SS, the frame rate is perfectly smooth

Of course item #2 you end up losing what makes this VR room version so awesome but as it is, there’s not much else you can do about it except turn down your SS settings and frame rate in Steam VR option.  that’s all depending on your headset, valve index can turn down refresh rates, don’t know if others allow that.
