Atlantis Submarine - S34
Atlantis Submarine prim as used on Herweh's table. Baked render version (ready to use) and VPX render version (add a black background colour in PS for the black plastic. I kept the texture transparent for easy colour change). Blender file with the High Poly version included. Read More -
Fantasy mesh figure collection
I share here some of my 3D scans I made over the time. They aren't related to any specific table but can be helpful if you plan to build a original fantasy table. Author is not responsible for end use. Have fun. Read More -

Williams EM Apron late 60s-early 70s mesh and textures
Williams EM apron Scanned and modeled from one I had sitting around. Three meshes (apron, apron screws, apron cards) and two textures (apronbake, cardsAO). Ambient occlusion baked into the image. A separate AO texture is included in case you want to apply it to different apron art. Read More -
Gottlieb roto target mesh and texture
Classic Gottlieb roto target mesh for table authors. This is a properly scaled round-target version with marbled plastic. This was used as early as the mid-1950s. Later versions had square targets. For VP the unit sits at -142 z and spins on objroty. Looks bad if you have screenspace cranked up too high so keep it between .25 and .33. "The roto unit has fifteen targets radially mounted on a rotating disc, with up to three targets projecting above the playfield. When the solenoid is energized, the drive lever arm engages the drive pawl with the drive gear of the ratchet which spins the target disc." source scan courtesy of adolpho Read More -
Classic Posts - meshes + textures
Here are newly modeled "smooth" posts used throughout the 50s and 60s by all the major manufacturers. These were modeled with actual posts in hand and should be a good baseline for positioning other playfield elements. The 1" posts are typically freestanding or sit beneath the plastics where there isn't a fastener through the plastic. The 1 1/8"(ish) posts are typically placed beneath the plastics when fastened through the plastic or used beneath gate or spinner brackets. The included textures give some ambient occlusion without being specific to where the post is placed. To create additional colors set the white version's blend mode to multiply over a solid color in your preferred graphic editor. The post materials in the demo table are set up to give the look of slight subsurface scattering when near GI lights. The demo table also has single and stretched rubber bands taken from real-world outer diameter measurements. I highly recommend using these in conjunction with the posts. Read More -
VR PinCab Templates & Files
PinCab Template Toolkit V2.0 by Sixtoe - In my ongoing quest to champion VR in VPX I've updated my template tables to make it *even easier* to add a minimal impact VR cabinet and room to VPX tables. Included are full tables, separate primitives, required materials and artwork templates. Some detailed instructions are on the installation page Thanks to; 3rdaxis: Original detailed Addams Family pincab model Flupper: Remodeled and simplified pincab from TOTAN DJRobX: For answering my many stupid questions as I was (and still am) learning! eMBee: For originally helping me wrap my head around Blender. ****************************************** A set of plug and play PinCab templates and primitives for use in VR, currently for; Bally Pre-WPC (Black Rose, Dr Dude etc. - Speakers on top of backbox) Bally WPC95 (Cactus Canyon, AFM etc. - Bally logo, 3d speakers.) Data East / Sega System 3 (Jurassic Park, Hook etc. - Simple DMD area, artwork speaker grills, 3d speakers) Sega Showcase (Starship Troopers, SWT etc. - Showcase logo, 3d hard speakers, some artistic license as the real backbox has no sides) Sega Large DMD (Batman Forever, Baywatch etc. - Large DMD with art, 2D speakers.) Stern (All older DMD tables - Plan DMD, Square 3D Speakers, some artistic license) Stern Spike (Guardians of the Galaxy etc. - Large DMD area, 3d speakers) Williams WPC (Judge Dredd, No Fear - Artwork DMD area, 2d speakers.) Williams WPC95 (TOTAN, Medieval Madness etc. - Williams logo, 3d speakers.) Read More -
Dead bumpers - meshes + textures
Here are a pair of dead bumper meshes, one flat/slanted top and one rounded. Includes the associated bumper skirt, rubber and ambient occlusion textures. You can paint directly onto the texture to add your art. I included a color sample since many caps have colored ornamentation. To color your own use the base AO texture and color over the area using a multiply mode in Photoshop to retain the contouring. Read More -
Grand Lizard Toy 3D by Dark
Grand Lizard toy 3D by Dark This model is meant to be used freely however you like however it is NOT to be re-distributed or used in any COMMERCIAL PRODUCT! Also if you use my work I must be credited for it as well as in any subsequent mods. Wrd sent me a high resolution 3D scan of the Grand Lizard Toy. It's poly count is in the millions and it also had one area with distortion below the right eye which I cleaned up and redrew the detail for. I textured the cleaned high poly scan with HD photos provided by wrd. The scan for some reason also created some 'rats nests' inside the mesh which I removed. I used normal map projection to capture the detail of the high res scan and project them onto a low poly optimized model. This toy is fairly large on the table so it's probably not a bad idea to just keep the texture maps at 2048x2048. I rendered the normal map at 4096x4096 originally and down sized it. Read More
