in VPX upper menu , in Table you’ll see Sound Manager you can Toogle the sounds there how you need them
Correct. But, also be aware. Often when you change something in sound manager, the change doesn’t stick before the whole table is re-loaded. So, if what you are trying to do, isn’t working. Save it to a new name, then load the newly renamed game all over again.

Yes, have the rom-file and it’s not blocked.
Don’t understand what might be the problem, most other tables start as they should !!

Then – maybe you have global preferences set to exclusive fullscreen without setting ddraw to 0 in registry for the rom ? And ALWAYS test the rom in setup.exe – to verify that it is actually working when you have issues. If that doesn’t work – VP won’t.

frpwr_b7 rom not loading for me?

@hittheshowers99 : For roms not working. There is really no reason to come around asking. You run setup.exe in the vpinmame folder, you scroll down to the rom in question and run the test. If it ain’t working, well, then you’ve got your answer. No working rom, no working table – except for Originals and EM’s of course that doesn’t run pinmame. Always go to VPU for roms is my recommendation.

I am using VPMAlias with this table because I use Firepower DMD underlays as well as the Aerosmith one. The issue I am having is when I load Aerosmith I am still getting Firepower rom sounds. Is there a way to turn them off for Aerosmith without affecting Firepower? Thanks!

Yes. Edit the script – turn off the sound. Remember to turn it on again on exit.

Thanks for the reply. I’m not sure what you mean by turning off the sound in the script. I looked through it and didnt see a 0/1 for shutting it off, nor anything pertaining specifically to rom sounds. Could you elaborate?

Depends a bit on how you construct the task – but you can always look at the script for Tom and Jerry, or any other table that does use a rom for the rules, but, different sounds.
Eksample in xxxx_init
Controller.Games(cGameName).Settings.Value(“sound”) = 0
and in xxxx_exit
Controller.Games(cGameName).Settings.Value(“sound”)=1
