Hello , I’m beginning a new Table Mod project, based on Laser War, Herweh’s table (thank you buddy!) .
Tribute to the band Iron Maiden and the famouse Eddie.Name : Iron Maiden Virtual Time
For now I’m on the Playfield design, still have to convert the Laser War Missions/modes into Iron Maiden theme and redraw all the light inserts and texts.
Apron is 90% designed.
I would like to add 3D Objects, to replace the Laser Canon on the top of the ramp.
Something like this (is a fake, flat 2d simulation)

My opinion : Please move some objects around a bit. There is no reason why this should play exactly like Laser War.

You are right , I planed moving stuff and modify some angles who drain the balls to quickly, but I’ll move more things, I have to make all together with the inserts etc to have a global simbiosis …
Also plastics will change of shapes, all this should result to something “new”You need to login in order to like this post: click here

Hey buddy, love the idea! I made worked on a custom Iron Maiden table some time ago. You can find it on the forums. I made a few different audio tracks for the table. In fact it grabs songs from every album! If you want to use em, go for it!

Looks great! Love it. Looking forward to it already. I love Iron Maiden. Would be great to see an option in the table to have the playfield art without the “Iron Maiden” text on it and let the artwork do the work as it looks great.

Looks great man. Better without it as playfields dont really have the name of the table, that is on the backglass. And then you would have space for all the inserts on top also. Top work man nice!
