December 1, 2015 at 8:36 pm #3796Awesome. Ironically I was just playing my own physmod conversion of the VP9 table yesterday. Obviously your lighting and physics are better. Plays great!
Am I the only one that gets a fair amount of color bleed if I have the bloom strength at .5 and above? Maybe it’s one of my other settings?

January 14, 2016 at 12:23 am #10940I am usually not a fan of many pre-1985 tables (must be my short attention span) but this is a great table. Great in its design and recreation.

January 25, 2016 at 6:20 pm #11750Wow this is a good looking table. I had never even heard of this one till I saw it here. One comment and question.
Holy crap this table is a CPU killer. Even though I am running an old Core2 Duo 3.3GH chip, it does very well with most all tables. With this table, both cores are maxed out during play. If I run Vsync, performance is worse at 30FPS. If I run unlimited FPS, it smooths out to about 99% or so with 130FPS. Although the table is very playable at this setting, I think I can hear my CPU whimpering during play.
At least on my rig, this table just does not like Vsync at all.
In general, I am seeing 70-80% CPU usage on most tables. So on to my question. Any recommendations for tweaks that might help with the performance of this awesome table on my cab? Just dont wanna crank the crap out of my CPU.
FTR, I am running a Nvidia GTX760 2GB video card.
Thanks

February 7, 2016 at 4:46 pm #12458Found some simple changes to “fix” some bugs and now it easily plays in my cab. Went from 22fps to 77fps.
Perhaps some old code that was still in there that is not needed?
flashertimer – remove the object and remove the two lines in the script that enables it. (search for flashertimer)
rollingsoundtimer – uncheck the enabled – its not referenced.
PrimtT – uncheck the enabled
Collision – make it 5 rather then 1 – not likely to have a collision in this table.Basically we are removing the unused cpu cycle burners for those of us without “fast” machines.

February 7, 2016 at 8:10 pm #12469Hopefully all this gets resolved in the final release. I’m running a I-7, 8gig ram, gtx-770 and for the most part the game plays pretty well, but here and there it just randomly stutters, or slows down for lack of a better word.

February 7, 2016 at 8:15 pm #12471As the vp developer noted – no point having timers set to 1 esp if they are not being used. Surely an oversight.

February 7, 2016 at 9:40 pm #12475I have no doubts ICP. That’s what Betas are about, finding bugs and refining the table.
