Here’s my best after about 15 games. One problem I noticed along the way though: I think I scored an extra ball once or twice, but it didn’t seem like it gave me another ball. Can anyone else confirm this?

Confirmed. you can change novelty to normal to get the extra ball instead of the 500,000.

ah OK, is 500K in place of extra ball the default? if so I guess we’ll need to leave it alone according to the GOTW rules.

What is the default? Mine has extra ball enabled. Here’s my best after 25 games. If I should be playing without extra ball, I’ll need to update the settings for my last 25.
