This is my first ever effort at table making. I’ve learned a lot since this work, and will publish updates that include new techniques that I’ve learned. A huge thanks to the whole VP community and to VPForums for providing the support and help to make this happen. I never could have done this on my own.

November 19, 2016 at 9:56 am #41378Nice job on the first table, Scotty! Way to go.
I’m not familiar with the actual table, but are the yellow bumpers supposed to bump?

November 20, 2016 at 10:25 am #41580Thanks drybonz. Yes, believe it or not, those are called “dead bumpers” are they do not pop and don’t have those mechanisms. I learned that from this video at 3:20:

November 20, 2016 at 12:58 pm #41592Thanks for the link, Scotty. Definitely an interesting table. It’s a weird placement of the right dead bumper, on the original table, as the ball kind of trickles between the bumper and drop targets in that little space. I thought, at first, that the dead bumper should be bumping the ball away from that area, but I guess not. :)

November 21, 2016 at 4:04 pm #41685Lots of fun ! Great table, and great IRL. It’s a good fun quirky table just as I remember it. There used to be a meteor around the corner from us a few years back. My ball gets stuck in the right hand drain though ? I moved the rubber post a bit and it seems to have cleared it up. I think I read somewhere that it is sometimes symptomatic of a wrong version of something installed ? It’s not an issue I’ve had previously though.
Cheers,
al.

October 26, 2017 at 2:56 pm #67629Funny you mentioned it … made me start adjust a few things here and there. A table that needs to be played with headsets though ;)
