So Here is a 4K png of the image, I’m not happy with it, so I won’t be using it as a backglass, I’ve done a few more changes, went with haunts ideas, removes side flames and added wheel wrap around flames instead, and removed the red background and went with the original charcoal-gray theme. It makes for a interesting Rat Fink desktop wallpaper.

Oh yeah this will probably be my first object based backglass, and use a heightmap to add texture to it.. fitting for this backglass.

I love it all… BUT being an Ed Roth maniac…. there’s an issue… the Outlaw (the car in the pic) had those side pipes, but they were capped off…. so the exhaust exited out the back of the car…. personally i would just make the flames come out the pipes and billow over the tires…

Well HF, I was totally into Ed Roth when I was nine, and probably my very first drawing was of an Ed Roth inspired “Odd Rods” which I collected at the time. So this is in that same vain, I have returned to my drawing roots for a couple of days (for fun) and made an Ed Roth influenced/inspired work, I know it’s the Outlaw it’s the reason I chose it, but I want to turn the real thing into a caricature of it. So you may not like what you see here.
I have extended/raised the seating into a bucket style, and added the airfoil, I had to do this for drawing reasons that were nagging at me to deal with the problem. Still need to add timing belt etc…, and raise steering wheel.. Cleaned up contours of characters, and added some separation, and Fixed Bettie’s Butt.

Well this is the final.. definitely not my finest, took the screenshot in 16:9 portrait so it will show up slim in landscape format. I’m still nowhere near happy with it, most of the problems lye in the granular detail on the three characters, and other areas getting messed up by the AA. but it looks nice as a desktop wallpaper.
