Hi all, Sorry to ask newb questions. but I guess you kindof expected that. I was wondering if there is a post somewhere that explains all of the programsĀ in VP that make it work and what they do? I have heard pinballx, visual pinball, pinmame, future pin just to name a few. I need to conserve space so I will be building a vertical game and I will be building it on a computer rack (somehow).
I have this PC, with 16GB of RAM. Do you think its good enough?

If it is, is there an up to date suggested hardware list? (Im sure the video card wont be good enough.
thanks!
Wayne

April 8, 2017 at 1:39 pm #51921The video card in the dell won’t be good enough so if it’s upgradable do that. As for programs pinballx is a great front end for everything. Visual pinball is the “player/editor” and pinmame is needed to play the roms of the pinball machine like mame does for arcade games

April 8, 2017 at 4:10 pm #51923Just want to say welcome to the addiction, Wayne! You can pick up a GTX-750 ti for cheap. Many of us have that graphics card, and it does the trick well as an entry level upgrade.

April 8, 2017 at 6:00 pm #51924Thanks Ben!! I can’t wait to get this going. Do you think there is an advantage of the 4tb one over the 2gb one?
