Which Rom!?!

Ok  Pardon me if this is not the place, but I need help. I am building a cab I have future Pinball and Pinball FX2 both running through pinballx (front end). However, I cant get visual pinball to work. My problem is two fold.

1) Can visual pinball 10 be used in cabinet?

2) if I download a table how do you I know which rom to download?

Yes vp10 is super in a cab. Basicly any table can run any version of its rom… but usually you want the newest rom made for the pinball machine as most scripts are made well after they stopped creating the software for the machine and authors just script in latest(last) rom for it

If you open up the script for the table, the name of the rom will usually be listed somewhere near the beginning.

*edit*  If you are trying to run a recent Stern table, then it gets weird.
