i’m working on table graphics just now

to tell the truth i’m working on it from weeks because this time it is really difficult, i have only one image from  Recel Fair Fight’s flyer (same playfield) and one low resolution picture strongly out of focus.

I’m redrawing all from scratch, but main characters (soldiers on playfield, and girls on plastics) have quite no details and double edge lines) so it needs time, and i have to invent missing details.

if someone has better images please help, otherwise will not reach a good ending quality

TTL B2S looks digital but works as EM because it has no rom, so to works properly needs B2S commands inside table script

JP confirmed those missing commands, and today Carlos Guzzo told me that Stat is working on script, and as soon as possible JP will update table.

controller error is usually dued from missing or corrupted rom in yor Vpinmame/roms folder (o sometimes because of old version of vpinmame database)

ceck if you have princess.zip file in rom folder, test it with start.exe and if needs download a new one from forum

as in description this is 1978’s TTL version of Taito’s Apache pinball

TTL technology is a mid way from EM and SS,  but as it is still electromachanic there is no ROM and our VPX table needs no ROM

next version in 1979 is a full SS but it is so rare that no one shared it’s ROM, that i know…

i did this backglasses for old VP9 with exe bg exactly for the reason you say: i’d like to update those table to VPX but i’m not able to do that

but… why did you remove all VP9 tables? some of them are still good works even in comparison to new VPX

 

the wooden frame is an experiment: when i have a backglass quite square like this , on a wide screen monitor it is stretched to rectanggle ad deformed loosing proportions (hugly to see). if i add two vertical strips each side i have a rectangular image that will be less deformed on wide screen

i don’t play FP tables can’t help you with that software

open text file in notepad select all text and copy it

open table with VP, click on Script button and in Script editor delete old script and paste the one copied

save table and play

yes i understand: double backglass= double number o tables=double number of voices in frontend menu

the “risk” is spend more time choosing the table instead of playing…

about frontends, can i ask you two which oune you use in your system?

use both!

make a copy of table with different name and make a double call in frontend

if exist two “phisical” backglasses why not 2 b2s?
