How do the newer vpx tables actually call the backglass?  I am familiar, with tables using:

        Set Controller = CreateObject(“B2S.Server”)

However, I do not see any reference to the B2S in the script of the tables that are not working.

I only have a single install of B2SBackGlassServerEXE.exe.  It’s in the “C:\Visual Pinball\Tables”.  I have tried re-registering as well.  Did not help.

I found a debug program for B2SBackglassserverEXE.exe named: B2S_Debug.exe.  I copied to my \VPX directory and ran.  It successfully loaded and displayed a sample backglass on my second monitor.  Here is the output in the B2SLOG.TXT file:

            ****Start of file****

            “1920”,” Screen2ResX”
            “1080”,” Screen2ResY”
            “0”,” Screen2PosX”
            “0”,” Screen2PosY”
            “\\.\DISPLAY2″,” displayname”
            “————————————————”
            “\\.\DISPLAY1″,” First screen”
            “\\.\DISPLAY3″,” Second screen”
            “\\.\DISPLAY3″,” Third screen”
            “————————————————”
            “\\.\DISPLAY3″,” Selected screen”
            0,” Working Area Top”
            1080,” Working Area Bottom”
            1920,” Working Area Left”
            3840,” Working Area Right”

            ****End of file****

Yes. The tables and back glasses have matching file names.

Wondering if during my efforts to remove orphaned tables and back glasses, did i remove any required file(s) for the back glasses to load correctly.  I compared my \VP9 and \PM5 sub-directories and did not notice any missing files.

Thanks for your response.  This issue occurs with or without without PinballX.  I have attached my Video settings.  I also tried selecting ” Force exclusive Fullscreen Mode (less compatible)”.  That made it worse.  Screen went “black”, reported issue locating the ROM file,  and game did not load.

Seems like there are cards with various output connections.  Are you guys using cards with multiple HDMI outputs?

Hey Drybonz, I have a similar setup.  40in for PF, 22in for BG and X-Arcade Tank Stick for controller.  Some day, I will build a cab.  You mentioned that you modified the x-arcade tank stick.  What did you modify/change?

Got the Sound working.  Saw a previous post that suggested changing the “Audio preferences” to use the “Primary Sound Driver”.  Music is now working.  Rockin out to Kiss tunes  :good:

                      Thanks

Thank you for a very beautiful table.  I have been enjoying playing it.  However, I cannot get the music to play.  Is there any changes required in the script to enable the music?

I am running 10.2 VPX, Vpinmame v2.8 and Windows 7 Ultimate.  The .vbs files have been placed inmy “Scripts” folder and the music in the “Music” folder.  I can manually play the music files, however, they do not play during the game.

                        Thanks

How can I verify if running forced full screen?  I checked the “Video Options”  The “Use always FS back drop settings (Cabinet/Rotated Screen usage)” is Selected.

Same behavior whather, I double click on .vpx,  start VP10.2 Beta and open .vpx table and play table or launch from PinballX front end.

I have about 100 vpx tables that all worked. Almost none work now.  However, “America’s Most Haunted” and “Astro (Gottlieb 1971)”  are working.

I have installed 10.2 Beta. made sure that .dll’s are unblocked, exe’s are set to run as Admin and made sure .vbs files are only in scripts folder.  However, still have same behavior.  Can’t load and VPX tables.

Am I running VPinMAME.dll: v2.8.  Is this correct?

                                    Thanks

Thanks for the reply.  I do believe the ROMs are ok.  They are testing fine in VpinMAME installation program: both stern and non stern ROMS.  I have also confirmed the “Setup Paths”
