Thank you randr for the link to the article. It would probably have passed me by. I’m so impressed by the work laid down on some of the tables nowadays. No wonder they look like the real thing. Even seem in the Trex head is there and the pf. Wow ! I’m sure that the color corrections from HF also plays their part. Wonderful to see this cooperation between these top artist. You all totally deserve all my gratitude.

This is going to be my last official build,  I can’t say when I’ll do another if at all.  Although I’ll probably still do the odd table toy model I won’t be doing any more full table builds, so with that said I’m trying to make this my best build to date utilising all I’ve learned from previous experience.  I’m going to try to do something a bit special for this build, I’m going to render ambient occlusion (shadows) layers using the 3D table build and apply them to the VPX build using flasher objects.  The goal is to have dynamic shadow casting for major events like GI on/off and flashers.

@Toxie thanks for fixing the vpx shader and adding in glossiness control to material options.  Also thanks for adding in increments to disable lighting (0.001 – 1.0 instead of just off/on).  These changes in vpx you implemented go a long on this build.

Toxie can you do me a favour though and fill in your profile pic, it’s just not you without that monster head.
