Color roms can impact performance. Especially if your running the stock beta version of vpvr. Try the latest version.

Make sure you get the one from 7-29-2019 and not the newer one.

      https://sourceforge.net/projects/vpvr/files/

Then get the files from this post to update https://www.facebook.com/groups/VRPinball/permalink/898946063935476/

Thanks for the response. Is facebook the only place to get those other files? I am one of those rare people who doesn’t have a facebook account  :D

Thank you very much for your work! I play Visual Pinball since 2001, and VR is AWESOME! I like very much all those old 80s pinball machines…the other day I run this machine in vr, your Strike and Spares, and wanted to know if the ON/OFF SWITCH was implemented. Just when I lay on the floor on my back with the VR headset, my son came in and saw me like this, and asked if I had gone crazy or had a heart attack …jajajaja. YEEEEESSS I am crazy with VP VR! Now, not only the playfiled and backglass, but also the whole cabinet with its artwork, the legs and the coin door! I used to play pinball in a C64 (NIGHT MISSION pinball) 40 years ago…I cant believe play pinballs like nowadays!

haha, Night Mission Pinball on the c64.. boy that ball movement looked very fluid for the day. Oh the memories.. I only recently got back into VP. Last time I played with it was version 5 I think. I am amazed by what its become with pup packs, color roms, and VR.. fantastic.. I’ve played barely anything else in the last few weeks since this rediscovery as I steadily catch up. What an awesome talented community (Sorry, not really a support post :) )

I know this doesn’t help you much, but I am on a Vive Pro and have played that exact ACDC VR Room table a lot and never experienced any of these issues. I even run Video Pup Packs in lots of Tables without issues. (not ACDC Pup Pack in this case).

I am running the latest VR version dated from 3/July if that helps any.

Color roms on the other hand.. yeah, they seem to suck the frame rate on some tables. (Like X-Men LE)

This table looks great in VR. Has anyone tried to add color rom support. I find adding color rom support makes the ball movement very stutter when it hits the bumpers. Its extremely smooth with color rom disabled. It may not be specific to this table and a general VR issue, but this table is very noticeable. Anyone else tried color roms in VR for this table?

a large majority of the tables let you adjust rubber positions to adjust for that.

take a look at the pic the peg/pin that holds the rubber can be adjusted

              Capture

if you want easy play make the gap between the two rubbers as narrow as possible

Came here to ask the exact same question. This is pretty cool.. you can even see the plastic has a slot in it to cater for this exact rubber adjustment which helps you make sure you aren’t adjusting beyond the tables expected tolerance for that rubber. Perfect, thanks for the tip.

Brilliant! The PupPack works on this nicely too (Just renamed Puppack to im_185ve).

Running these tables with PupPacks in VR is great (Admittedly, some take some effort to get right depending upon the pack and VR table backglass setup, but the effort is usually worth it). This table took no effort at all to have the pup pack running nicely on the backglass.. Great job.

Thanks for this. Your minimal conversions for VR are awesome! Thanks to both you and Scottywics for this great combination.
