A bit of news first, so 70 of the 100 tables are D&N modded and works very -very well, but will be delayed until toxie (who is very busy) gets the time to include a change I requested , this request is to automatically alter table widths based on video aspect , 4:3 , 16:9 , and 16:10, in both landscape and portrait modes, ever since I moved the tables as close as possible to maximize on the screen render, and to reduce the effects of anti-aliasing, the aspects now have a major impact on table rendering in FSS.
I have nearly finished my 9 FSS tutorial videos, but I also have continued to mod new upcoming tables like f14 tomcat, and others. I have the original and an alternate backglass for f-14 Tomcat and the flasher lights as a topper, check it out in the video.

Part 8 of 9 is added to my project page
In this tutorial I insert the 4 player 7 segment led displays, and enable them in the table script, if it wasn’t for the few little hiccups , this video would of lasted 5 minutes, showing how easy and simple it is to add digital displays to FSS tables.

thanks ganjaman and crew! loving it.. must be the same team that made Big Guns.. same voice and same feel to the table as big guns..
EDIT: No 16 seg display yet because i’m going to use this table in my tutorials, since it’s mixed 16 segment and 7 seg displays.

Jeez Dozer, did you travel forward in time and bring the finished think back with you? you’re like a magician, like 2 days ago it was all gray with 5 or 6 elements!!!
EDIT: btw it looks really nice.. love the lighting , the gloss, and transparency, to name a few…

Adding the D&N stuff is moving at a rapid pace. The entire set of (100) tables will be updated in the near future to support Day and Night user settings, you will be able to set how bright/dark you like your tables , currently 1/5th of the entire set has been converted in the last few days, with only 2 giving me issues, and those issues are due to the experimenting I was doing in lighting early on in my work.

So onto the next phase of FSS tables which is Day Night light transitions without over-lit or under-lit issues, nor any lighting anomalies such as overburn. This is so players can set the tables to Day or Night whatever the preference, and not have to worry about it not looking proper. The lighting is not linear, its more of a bell curve, intensifying quickly and settling into an almost shallow linear increase, which explains why the light “seems” to not change a whole lot in the 4 last frames.
The top row of images are with the table inactive, and the bottom row are active.
Youtube video showing bad Cats and Star Trek TNG, using the same algorithm and data, showing the same results.

I recomend you to use Spiderman Vault + Color ROM …
Yeah just so happens I started modding it last night to FSS. Don’t know if the color DMD works in vpinmame DMD internal display, I guess I will find out.
