Maybe this has been discussed but i can’t find it. I’m guessing this field can be used to overwrite the settings you have in the “PinUp Player Displays”? How is the custompos configured? What does each comma separated space mean?
Thanks

November 4, 2018 at 9:54 pm #102709It’s used to repurpose any PuP screen, by using another PuP screen’s “default” size and position as a refernce and starting point.
CustomPos entries are:
Reference Screen, x position %, y position %, x size %, y size %
2, 20,10,50,40
If I used this with screen 7, it would position itself using screens 2’s position as a starting point, and its “default” size as a reference in terms of what 100% will be in pixels. Screen 7 will be 50% of the width, and 40% of the height of screen 2.
This allows other screens to be setup using the Backglass and Topper as a reference, without needing to worry about what the default size and position is of the screen being used, as everyone “should” have their backglass and Topper correctly setup.

November 5, 2018 at 4:46 pm #102774Thanks.
I can’t seem to get it to work. For example, i made a change to go from screen 2 (backglass) to screen 0 (topper) and it didn’t move to the topper screen. Should it have? I was trying to make a drastic change just to see how those values works.

November 5, 2018 at 5:17 pm #102777No it won’t work, because you have the Topper screen set to off in the pup-pack, which overrides default “state”. So the reference of 0 won’t display anything.

November 5, 2018 at 5:35 pm #102779Bad example. Sorry about that.
I did try 2,1,1,1,1 and no change on Transformers and the same results. Nothing i put in seems to change size and location.

November 5, 2018 at 6:12 pm #102785Your picture shows it changing something. :)
Try “real values”, as using only 0’s and 1’s won’t work right for screen size. Try using some of my values i already had and adjust them a little bit bigger and smaller at first to see what they do.
Make sure you save as well.

November 5, 2018 at 7:34 pm #102790I’m missing something. I tried the original values, low values and half of original values. Nothing changes size and location. The screen only goes to the setting that was configured in the “PinUP Player Displays”.

What are you trying this with? PuP-Packs with tables? If you edit a table’s pup-pack, then changing those values and then saving the pack, and then running the table/pack should change something.
Make sure you completely CLOSE VPX so that PuP is completely closed between each adjustment.

November 6, 2018 at 7:10 am #102810I’m trying to apply the transformers and masters of the universe pup-pack to the their tables. The custompos is not moving screens to their configured locations. I have been saving pup config and then reopening vpx.
Thanks

November 6, 2018 at 9:35 pm #102857I tried to re-install and leave all the defaults alone. I still can’t get screens to adjust. I have only my back glass and topper enabled in the global settings.

November 7, 2018 at 8:48 pm #102912No matter what is in the CustomPos field, it does not honor the settings. Do you have any other ideas?
Thanks

November 7, 2018 at 9:04 pm #102915Don’t know what else to recommend. If the table’s are running correctly with my CustomPos, then its not an issue of pup not running right,
There must be something missing or you are either not saving correctly…or editing the wrong pack. Don’t know what else i can see.

November 7, 2018 at 9:12 pm #102916Using the values that are configured in the download don’t work either. The videos will only play on the global setting for the original screen. So a video that is using other/topper but has a custompos to use reference screen of back glass with custom sizes, will only play on the topper screen with the defaul topper size.

November 7, 2018 at 9:53 pm #102919My guess is you may not have updated Pinup System correctly somehow, OR you have something set to Run as Admin that shouldn’t be set. The only file in PinupSystem folder set to Run as Admin can be pinupmenu.exe, nothing else.

November 11, 2018 at 4:52 pm #103199This is driving me crazy. I don’t have any extras files set to run as admin. The videos play at the correct time and play on the correct screen. However, they don’t play where CustomPos is telling them too.
