@dark @duke000088 @dinonel @lionraw @rgarriott, I got it going!!! I think this is what happened.  I swapped out the old graphics card to the new 5700.  You have to download the Radeon Adrenaline Software for the drivers and such.  When it installs, you would think everything is up to date since it queues a restart of your system.  After the restart,   I tried playing a VPX table and of course had blocky looking textures.   I made sure the buffering option was checked and still had blocky tables.  After calming down because I thought I just bought a $450 paperweight, I came here and saw that others had problems too, so I wasn’t alone.   @rgarriott mentioned the Saphire update.  I looked for Saphire on the AMD site, but I think it’s for a specific brand of card.  Once again, I opened the Adrenaline AMD software looking for options or settings that I thought might help.  On the System tab there was a notification saying that I needed to install the latest update.  Once I let it do it’s thing and then restarted again, I opened VPX and everything is perfect!!   Hopefully this will help you guys!!  The Adrenaline Software just needed to update drivers again after the initial install.

@rgarriott, Thanks for the advice!!  Is there a specific way to get Saphire updates?  It seems AMD just has the Adrenaline Software which auto detects the drivers and there not much options to pick anything manually.  I’m searching for Saphire software but not having any luck.  I’ve gotten all the latest updates and it’s still looking like a Minecraft made pinball table lol.

My son talked me into getting the 5700 XT too because he uses it for his gaming system and loves it.  I ordered it from Newegg this week and of course once I got it in and going, there’s the pixelated squares.  Did anyone ever find a solution to this issue or is that card just not going to get it done in VPX?

I just downloaded the table and when trying to open the table I get the following error message:

            Line: 6467

ActiveX Component can’t create object: ‘UltraDMD.DMDObject’

            I noticed that line 6489 has – ” UltraDMD.SetProjectFolder curDir & “\Jaws.UltraDMD”

I don’t have Jaws on my system so is that why I’m getting the error?
