Acces Violation Error in PinUpMenuSetup.exe

Made a separate entry as suggested :)

When installing PinUpSystem on W764 I am getting an access violation error.

During set up I chose ‘DirectX’ for joystickconfig in GlobalConfig

When continuing with the Controller set-up and pressing the controller set-up  button I am getting an access violation error (screen shot attached).

I already tried reboot, reinstall PinUp, delete old pin up player folder, update Pinscape firmware, choose other joystickconfigs, install only PinUpmenu.

Still getting the same error.

Any ideas?

May not help but I had the same error until I realized the stool was holding one of my buttons down. Depressed button and issue went away. Maybe a wire or solder joint is accidentally shorting out causing closed switch… sorry I couldn’t be of more help

NailBuster helped me very fast and good in solving this error!    

My error was solved by an updated version of PinUpMenuSetUp. It will be incorporated in the next release
