September 23, 2019 at 6:59 pm #145972With this server it’s not supposed to load a backless unless it is absolutely the same name
What I did is moved out the back glass for both games and just used the puppack for both gamesIf you don’t want to use the puppack for Revenge from Mars then do this to the game

September 23, 2019 at 8:12 pm #145979I like your option of getting both backglasses out of the table folder and using the pupplayer for both games. I wouldn’t thought of that.
Thank you.

October 29, 2019 at 10:16 am #149360Very nice thanks,
I have an error message: SaucerHit.m4v is missing in the topper folder.
I double checked the folder and it isn’t there and also missing in the archive I downloaded.
Does anyone face the same issue?

January 8, 2020 at 4:54 am #157413I play on a single laptop screen. I wasn’t able to get the videos to appear.  Then I tried editing the Pup-Pack and it worked for me!!
I launched the editor PinUpPackEditor.exe which is in your PinUPSystem folder.
I selected afm_113b and then Loaded it.
For ScreenNum 2: Backglass, I changed the Mode from Show to ForceOn
I saved the PuP-Pack and it now works for me. However, at the beginning if you find you can’t insert a coin or launch the ball, it might be because a video just appeared and the focus isn’t on the table anymore and is instead on the video. Click on the table to return the focus and you can insert coins or launch the ball.
Fortunately for me, this doesn’t reoccur once the game starts.
This solved a similar problem for me with the Batman Pup-Pack.

January 8, 2020 at 6:00 am #157421Update your db2s server. Sounds like yours is still doing fuzzy matching.

January 20, 2020 at 2:23 pm #159589Reinstalled my cab, PUP player and PINUP are working.
Game is starting with backglass and topper active.
But it doesn’t react on any triggers?
When I start PUP editor and fire events both are working…
Any ideas?

January 20, 2020 at 8:04 pm #159639You need to install the directb2s version mentioned in the Pinup Player install guide. It will fix the behavior you are seeing

When I reinstalled the cab I followed the install guide and this must be the right one, isn’t it?

You have freezy Working?
I’ve checked some of my 70 PUP-packs but they are all starting when launching a game but not reacting on any triggers.
The only one that is working is Stranger Things, but that one works on a different way I believe.
And if I test it from the PinUpPackEditor and fire some events, videos are playing.
I installed everything from A to Z from the tutorial including Freezy.
I think it’s not working correctly because when I use the cmd dmdext test from the VPinMAME folder the screen stays black on my PIN2DMD and no results.
But when I start dmdext from another folder, for example VPinSPA with the same command I do get some results
But still nothing on my PIN2DMD….
PIN2DMD in general is working. When I launch any game the (colored) ROM is displaying on my PIN2DMD.

January 28, 2020 at 10:09 pm #161218Try one at a time and Make sure you restart the VP with each game and/or change
I read some people have problems when they have the VPinMAME64.dll in the folders
Re-register all your pinup player including the one in your VPinMAME folder
If you are running programs as administrator try turning it off on all of themYou need to login in order to like this post: click here

January 29, 2020 at 4:20 pm #161281I started the Pinup Frontend and suddenly I saw the DMD mirrored on the backglass when browsing the tables.
Is that the Freezy/dmdext one?
But still no reaction on events when launching AFM.
Then I was reading the Trouble Shooting Pup-Packs page on the nailbuster site and saw this:
So I think it must be something with the dmddevice.dll (91 kb), I used the default one from the C:\Visual Pinball\VPinMAME\PIN2DMD folder.
But the article tells me to use the dmddevice.dll (4725 kb) that comes with the dmdext 1.7.1 installer.
When I use the one from the dmdext 1.7.1 installer, the big one, my PIN2DMD isn’t working anymore.

January 29, 2020 at 5:27 pm #161284The Freezy files 1.71 go in the VPinMame folder
Then use your DmdDevice.ini file and put it in the VPinMame folder

January 30, 2020 at 2:06 am #161316Yes that’s where they are, in the VPinMAME folder (but also in the VPinSPA folder).
Do you have a PIN2DMD or LCD? Which dmddevice.dll are you using? The small (Lucky) or the big one (Freezy)?
And I noticed that I don’t have a PUPLOG file?

January 30, 2020 at 9:20 am #161341I miss read that post
Do not use the 64 bit Version — dmdext-v1.x.x-x64
I have a PIN2DMD
You have to use Freezy in order for Puppacks to workYou have this in your DmdDevice.ini file
[pinup]
; if enabled, send frames to PinUP.
enabled = trueThis is the 1.71
https://github.com/freezy/dmd-extensions/releases/tag/v1.7.1I use this 1.73
