Back glasses suddenly don't work

I installed a few new games this morning (as usual) along with the Italian pup pack for  the last starfighter  this morning and all of a sudden almost all of my back glasses fail to load. Also noticed that the Nivedea settings window doesn’t open on the bglass monitor  any longer. A few of my VPT games still show working animated bgs but not all. And if I run the front end the preview glasses show but vanish  when I launch the game

Deleted everything I had  added this morning but still no bglass images.

Any help figuring this out would be much appreciated.

Adding that the Nivedea settings show up automatically when I right click on a working backglass. On the tables that aren’t showing a glass when I right click in the BG monitor the select dropdown menu appears including Nevedea but when I select it nothing happens……. Must be a clue I suspect
