      Sorry if this is a stupid question.  Quite new to this but getting the hang of all of it!  But I ran into something I’d like to get addressed…

      I have a couple of backglasses that appear different than their screenshots do.  By that I mean, the screenshot shows the whole backglass, but when I actually use it, there are speakers at the bottom of it, and a place for a DMD to be.  But I don’t want that.  I want the full backglass to take up that entire screen, as I have a 3rd screen for DMD/Topper.

      Now here’s the part that confuses me even more…  I have a couple of different Stern’s Avengers tables.  One from JP and one from… I don’t know… elsewhere.  Well, I figured I’d just use the same backglass, so I just copied and renamed it.  In the… non-JP version, I get the full backglass, but when I use the same backglass on JP’s new version, I get the speakers at the bottom!  Now, they are using different ROMs.  But I don’t know enough to know if that matters.  Is that happening within the ROM?  Or within the Script somewhere?  Or elsewhere?

      Thanks for any answers!

        You can right click on the backglass to bring up b2s options and set the grill to hidden from there.

        If you set up your screenres correctly then the grill will auto hide.

            when you first run a dB2s file

            this file will be created where you have your B2s server exe

            or

            wherever the dB2s file is located (I don’t have my tables or dB2s files in my Tables folder only the B2server).

            B2STableSettings. XML

            any changes you make will be saved here so make sure you back this up.

            each rom you have will have its own entry

            example for TX-Sector

            <txsector>
            <HideGrill>1</HideGrill>
            <HideB2SDMD>0</HideB2SDMD>
            <HideDMD>2</HideDMD>
            <LampsSkipFrames>1</LampsSkipFrames>
            <SolenoidsSkipFrames>3</SolenoidsSkipFrames>
            <GIStringsSkipFrames>3</GIStringsSkipFrames>
            <LEDsSkipFrames>0</LEDsSkipFrames>
            <UsedLEDType>2</UsedLEDType>
            <IsGlowBulbOn>0</IsGlowBulbOn>
            <GlowIndex>-1</GlowIndex>
            <StartAsEXE>1</StartAsEXE>
            <StartBackground>0</StartBackground>
            <FormToFront>1</FormToFront>
            <Animations />
            </txsector>

            Jps Avengers uses the Limited Edition Rom

            the VP9 and other VPX tables use the PRO  rom

            you will find 2 separate  sections for both of those roms.

            You can even run all your tables once,  open your B2STableSettings. XML

            in note pad+++   and use the auto replace feature to change this

            <HideGrill>0</HideGrill>

            to this

            <HideGrill>1</HideGrill>

            so that you don’t have to right click on every single file  you run to hide the grill.

            see a table you like help me find the resources so that I can finish it

                Oh wow!  That’s an incredible idea!

                I’m a big NPP fan, of course.  But you’ve just taught me TWO things now!  Changing the XML, AND I never new NPP could replace across multiple opened files!  That SO damn useful!!!

                THANKS!
