I was gifted a parted out Chicago Coin cab and it had this old NuTone chime unit inside. I was wanting to possibly repurpose it for my vpin cab and was wondering how I would go about repairing it? The plunger on the left seems to be very loose. Is it even worth repairing?

Now that I look into it closer it just seems like a standard doorbell. Looks like you can get something very similar on ebay.  Nutone Broan Door Bell Chime Mechanism
Would this work instead of repairing what I have?
