Future Pinball/ Bam controls not working

Hi guys.. I am new to future pinball. I had Future pinball without bam running on a desktop before with a few tables.. No issues. Problem is..

I have a new pc and I have installed Future Pinball and Bam as per Terry reds excellent youtube video and guide and I can not get any of the keyboard controls to work. I can launch the demo table.. And even a downloaded table.. But I can not insert a coin or anything. It is like none of the controls work.

I have attempted to program the keyboard as well as Xarcade tankstick which inputs as a keyboard.

I am not running as an administrator and I am not using the stock launcher to open the program.

Computer specs are

Alienware Alpha

Core I3

Nvidia gtx 860

8 gigs ram

Single monitor

Windows 10

Any idea of what I can try to do to get my controls working?

Disregard guys. I got the controls to work. I had to run as an admin, which was not recommend in the tutorial.
