Edit: you can now take a look at photos I took of the entire build process here: https://ibb.co/album/NVHN0Q

Hi everyone – I’m excited to show off my new build here – this is a ‘mini-cab’ (24″ playfield) with 3 screens. It has been built with ‘travelability’ in mind, and with the legs off this little guys fits comfortably in the backseat of my Mazda 3. The backbox is attached with two simple bolts and wing-nuts, and can be easily folded down for ease of travel, or removed completely. The decals were custom designed by my girlfriend to fit this cabinet, and feature many of my favourite adult cartoons (south park, futurama, rick and morty, invader zim, disenchantment).

      Quick Specs:
      -Intel core i5, 8gb Ram
      -500W PSU
      -MSI 1050ti GPU
-I/O Pinscape standalone (KL25Z board only)
      -24″ 144khz gaming monitor playfield
-15″ Backbox Monitor, 7″ mini DMD monitor
-Two sets of speakers, one in backbox and one underneath the playfield
      -1/8″ Plexiglass top glass
-Custom art made by my super talented girlfriend!
      -Currently 155 tables installed
-Rear hinged doors for easy wiring access
-Access holes and pull-tabs added for easily removing the playfield glass and screen – for easy tweaks.

      Reflection/Notes:
-The 1050ti performed well on 99% of tables but does stutter on high impact tables like Cirqus Voltaire or Stern Star Trek – because of this I have opted to upgrade to a ZOTAC 1080ti Mini.
-Initially I hadn’t planned on adding art/decals – so when I went back to add the decals I had to fully disassemble my cabinet, which is both nerve wracking and tortuous. If you are building your cab and want art, take your time and get it on at the start. Don’t be like me.

Thanks for reading guys and as always thanks to everyone who make this community what it is!

Sweet. The side cooler is an interesting touch. I like it!
