As suggested in performace tweaks, I’m playing with LampTimer value on some tables trying to get rid of stuttering and gaining some FPS.
Can someone explain me how this setting works (or point me to a reference)?
On some tables changing from “-1” to “30” makes a big difference in terms of less stuttering and FPS gain (not just when the lights come into play). On some other nothing changes.Visually I can’t notice differences, but I’m afraid increasing too much the value and “ruining” something.
Thanks

May 15, 2019 at 10:32 am #128424You should uncheck both checkmarks I markedup and change FPS to “1”. Start there before you add reflections and AO that’s pushing it depending on your hardware. See photo attached

May 16, 2019 at 4:42 am #128505I can gain some FPS disabling the 2 options. Enabling VSYNC (standard) is not a good idea because you’ll get massive lag: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=gQ77fBA521o
However, I’ve opened this thread because I wanted to understand how LampTimer value works and impacts table performances/visuals.
