Media on selection screen doesn’t reappear after quitting game

When I start pinup everything works great. I have all my media and backglass showing for each table I highlight. Once I select a table and play when I return using the pinup popper quit key all that is shown is my selection wheel and the desktop. None of my media is loaded like it was on initial boot. Any suggestions?
