Hi ,
I am a little struggling over my cabinet build with a 40″ playfield .
Are there any plans for a 40″ playfield to begin with ? What i am thinking off is the lockbar after i build the cabinet .
Because i seems like the lockbars are one or 2 sizes . Or do i mistake .
I just want to be sure before i start the case .
If i would have a starters plan i would be happy .
thx

July 10, 2020 at 2:54 pm #190730I reccomend building off standard size building plans and then modifying as you see fit. Keep in mind using a custom size will also require custom glass, side rails ect.
Virtuapin makes custom size lock down bars.

July 10, 2020 at 2:59 pm #190732Typically there are standard and widebody sized tables. You can get custom lockdown bars made but of course it will cost extra. I am using a 43″ TV for my build and ordered everything for a widebody. I’m not sure what the typical width is for a standard table.
Mjr’s build guide explains it pretty well. Look here: http://mjrnet.org/pinscape/BuildGuideV2/BuildGuide.php?sid=playfieldTV

July 10, 2020 at 3:13 pm #190735ok , thx for the reply’s .
I read standard build is tv up to 39,8 inch . And maybe 40inch if the bezel isn’t to wide .
Will measure the tv tommorrow . I hope it fits in a standard build :)

July 11, 2020 at 2:56 pm #190866Yes , tv is 40 inch ultra hd ;)
Tv width is 53 cm . And standard cabinet is width 56cm .
So i must take mdf of 1.2cm , then bottom plate must be 53,6cm .
Then tv should fit fine .

July 12, 2020 at 7:57 am #190954Wide body plans are your best bet. I found it best to make sure you have your lockbar, coin door, monitors and rails before you start that way you have all the measurements handy while you are in build mode.

July 12, 2020 at 9:56 am #190965I got a plan from here . https://uploads-ssl.webflow.com/5b44edefca321a1e2d0c2aa6/5c34d36638fadfca7dbaf8f3_Dimensions-Guide-Fixtures-Gaming-Machines-Pinball-Dimensions.svg
But how wide is then wide body cabinet ? Because i found so many plans , but always different measerments ?
Ok , i see now standard 56 cm , wide cabinet 63 cm
