Pinball, lunch and family

Interesting observation over the weekend…

I had friends over for lunch.
One of my mates’ kids had never heard of pinball before. He was trying to explain it in the car on the way over, however they didn’t get it.

On arrival, they pestered me about pinball. So I gave them each a 20c piece for x1 credit (for the real machine).
They were instantly hooked. Then I showed them my virtual cab.

Funny thing was, my mate and his daughter fell in love with the VP cab, whilst his son and wife were hooked on the real machine.
…meanwhile, people were outside on the deck enjoying drinks and the sun.
The funniest part of this story is my mate’s wife and his son became instantly obsessed with pinball, to the point that would not socialize (other than requesting more credits). When they left, “Bob” aka my mate’s son was hugging the pinball cab. This is a kid that grew up on PS4.
