PinballX with FX3 and dmdext

I am having some issue getting dmdext to work with FX3 within PinballX

If I run it outside of pinballx everything works great.

If I start it and then launch pinballx it works as well

but if I use the before and after program option in PinballX then it does not work. The DMD shows but it shows no animation at all

Here is my bat file I am using:

cd “C:\Visual Pinball\VPinMAME”
start /min “” “dmdext.exe” mirror –source=pinballfx3 -d virtual –virtual-hide-grip –virtual-position=6040 730 1040 –pinup PINUP\%1

Am I doing something wrong?

Is this a permission thing inside of PinballX?

-pinup PINUP\[TABLEFILE]

I am using a batch file to run it and passing in the table name as the parameter. The parameter is correct but the pinup stuff does not play and the dmdext does not show

The dmdext works fine outside of PinballX
